Introduction
I am now retired after working for the past twenty-two years as Senior Finance Officer in a Sixth Form College and my husband is a retired Music Lecturer. We are able to offer short or medium term sitting and have previously looked after houses and pets in the U.K, France and Australia and would be happy to provide references as required. We have recently acquired a one year old Irish Terrier who is very at home with other dogs both large and small so we would hope to be able to bring him with us to any house sitting in the future.
Why I want to housesit
We love seeing new places but have always preferred renting property for our holidays as we like the freedom this gives us. House sitting gives us the opportunity to enjoy different areas of the U.K. and abroad without spending too much of our pension!
What I bring to the assignment / relevant experience
Although in our 'senior years' we are both physically fit and are experienced in D.I.Y., gardening and pet care so are able to deal with any unexpected 'emergencies'. We can offer you complete peace of mind when leaveing your home and/or cherished pets knowing we will care for them as we would our own.
