Introduction

I am a self-employed consultant who can work anywhere there is a good internet connection.
I usually spend my afternoons and evenings working, so I provide real companionship for your pets. I am tidy and very respectful of belongings. I love both cats and dogs and am conscientious about feeding times and medications, plus giving them the play time and affection they need.

I am also very organized and would be able to manage your property for an extended stay. As a former realtor, I understand the importance of keeping your home in top shape.

Why I want to housesit

When visiting an area, I like to experience it from the perspective of a local and not a tourist. I love doing all the routine things like going to the market, going for runs in the neighborhood. I am a quiet person and would prefer to find a quiet place to retreat to.

What I bring to the assignment / relevant experience

I love all animals, but especially dogs and cats. I have taken care of many pets, and I'm told I have a calming effect.

As a former realtor, I understand that a home is more than just a house. I'm comfortable handling maintenance issues and minor emergencies associated with caring for your property. I will be respectful and mindful of the utilities, as well as keeping your home clean and tidy until your return.

  I had vacation rental properties in Englewood FL and Chantal stayed w/ me for 4 or 5 yrs. We became friends. When I moved we stayed in touch, and she stopped by to see me in NC. Chantal is an honest, responsible and pleasant person. She was a "dream guest" and left the units immaculate. She had her dog with her for 3 or 4 of the years she stayed w/ me and she was a responsible pet owner. Josh (her dog) was never a problem and he died in Florida at an advanced age.
