So grab the poop bags and a leash as we take you on a tour of the best Dallas dog parks to add to your doggy bucket list!

The best dog parks in Dallas, Tx

NorthBark Dog Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: 4899 Gramercy Oaks Dr, Dallas, TX 75287, United States

This North Dallas puppy paradise features 22.3 acres of off leash parkland just waiting to be explored by your four-legged friends! With separate areas for large and small dogs, trails weaving their way through the park, and a lake for pooch pals to cool off in, it’s not surprising it’s such a popular spot. Plus, it’s the largest dog park in North Texas - now that’s something to bark home about!

White Rock Lake Dog Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: 8000 E Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75218, United States

Located on the northwest side of White Rock Lake Park, this 3-acre dog park is a little slice of heaven for pooch pals and their parents. The sprawling green space backs onto a lake with a fenced-off swimming area for pups, making it the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Dallas. Two separate areas allow furry friends of all shapes and sizes to run free, and the park is fully fenced to give you peace of mind as your pup explores and plays with their new furry friends.

Central Commons Community Dog Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: 4711 Westside Dr, Dallas, TX 75209, United States

This Dallas dog park is located in the backyard of the Central Christian Church, which helps to maintain the grounds along with a tightly-knit community of animal lovers. Pups of all sizes play together in the main park area, but there is a separate area for small dogs under 30lbs. Balls, toys, and water bowls are often provided (for pooch pals), and their parents can choose to stroll around the park's perimeter or take a load off on one of the many chairs. The park is mostly shaded and it can get dusty during the summer months, but it’s nothing the washing station found at the exit of the park can’t solve! A worship service takes place in the dog park on the first and third Sunday of every month.

Barry Annino Dog Park, Dallas (formerly Bark Park Central)

Address and map pin: 2530 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75226, United States

This 1.2 acre off leash wonderland for wagging tails can be found on the southwest intersection of Good-Latimer Expressway and Commerce Streets, underneath the elevated portion of US75. The freeway above might be noisy, but it provides pups with a shady spot to have a run around while pet parents can enjoy the street art and views of downtown. With drinking bowls and even showers to wash away the day, all you need is a leash and some poop bags (dog lovers without a pup of their own are also welcome!).

Wagging Tail Dog Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: 5841 Keller Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75248, United States

Get ready to get those tails wagging at Wagging Tail Dog Park! Furry friendships flourish in this spacious, fenced-in doggy haven, where chasing tennis balls is the most important pastime. Separate sections for small and large dogs mean everyone can strut their stuff with confidence without feeling overwhelmed, and shaded seating areas keep pet parents cool during the summer months. From dog birthday parties to obedience training classes, there’s always something fun going on here!

Main Street Garden Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: 1902 Main St, Dallas, TX 75201, United States

This vibrant urban oasis isn’t just for humans! The designated dog-friendly area is fully fenced in so pups are free to chase squirrels, pooch pals, or their tails to their heart's content! A tired dog is a happy dog, which means there are obstacles like tunnels and hoops for athletic pups to show off their skills. What’s more, this dog park’s located right in the heart of downtown Dallas, making it super convenient for city dwellers and those exploring the area.

My Best Friend’s Park, Dallas

Address and map pin: Klyde Warren Park, 2012, Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Dallas, TX 75201, United States

Pop Fido on the leash and take a walk around Klyde Warren Park to grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks before heading for an off-leash run around in this doggy area found on the corner of Pearl Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway. It may be one of the smaller dog parks in Dallas, but it has shaded areas and a mound for pups to play on, and hosts special events like Little Dog Day and Dog Derby Day!
