Hi, my name's Nicola. I live in Tasmania, an island state off mainland Australia. I having a gap year, after completing my undergraduate degree before continuing study. I love history, archaeology and greenery, which makes the UK an awesome for me to explore. I'm leaving my cat and dog (and cows) at the family farm in southern Tasmania, and am looking forward to making more furry friends. Having lived on a farm from childhood, I'm very conscientious and forward thinking, and am very capable at dealing with unexpected mishaps.
Why I want to house sit
Having lived in busy Melbourne whilst at university, I'm planning a break out of the bustle of large cities. House sitting is the perfect option for me to be able to explore surrounding areas and countryside, whilst having a base to relax and come home. I'd love to share my explorations with animals, or cuddle up and find a nook to read and wind down.
My experience
Growing up on a farm, I was involved with caring for animals and the property. I lived in a residential college at university, being mindful and respectful of maintaining a tidy and cooperative environment. I have also successfully house-shared, maintaining a home and keeping it all running smoothly.
