We are semi retired professional couple. A teacher and a photographic journalist. Together we still own a photographic company that we manage at arms length..

Why we want to house sit

We love animals and recently lost both our dogs over the past 7months. Bessie was a treasured 17yo kelpie/blue heeler cross and Tuppy a 15yo jack russell/corgi cross. We have decided to up our travel for the time being. Our 3 adult daughters and their families are spread nationally and internationally. The company and care of animals and the respect of property are the reasons we enjoy housesitting. We also for the pure enjoyment document our journey for publication in various magazines.

Our experience

We have travelled extensively and are both resourceful and trustworthy. The care of your home and pets is our primary obligation. We have enjoyed previous housesits and would be happy to pass on additional references to those published here.

Phil and Wendy have cared for our home and puppy for over 2 weeks, and they are truly sensational!

Wendy and Phil house sat for us for 2 weeks in Feb/March this year. They also looked after our cat Oscar. They were terrific. Wendy and Phil house sat for us for 2 weeks in Feb/March this year. They also looked after our cat Oscar. They were terrific. We met with them a couple of days before we left to show them how thinks worked in the house and to introduce Oscar. When we returned the house was spotless, the garden looked great and Oscar was happy. I definitely recommend Phil and Wendy.

I have known Phil and Wendy for over 30 years and have always found them to be reliable and trustworthy. They have an amazing family with 3 beautiful Daughters, and now one Grandson.
