We are a married couple from Australia who have been together for nine years. Andy is a nurse, Cassy is a paramedic and we are currently travelling in Europe. We both love animals, gardens and nature. We are quiet, non-smoking, non-partying people who enjoy reading, cooking and being outdoors.

Why we want to house sit
We love house-sitting as it allows us to experience and learn from different lifestyles, cultures and communities. It's a great way to meet new people and animals, and explore areas that we may not otherwise have seen.
Our experience
We have had numerous house-sitting jobs, ranging from several days to several months. These have involved caring for animals (dogs, cats, chooks, ducks, turtles, pigeons, fish and guinea pigs), garden maintenance, mail collection, recording phone messages and professional cleaning and customer service for paid accomodation.
We are capable and responsible people and are willing to learn new skills in order to provide the best care for your pets and house. With appropriate instruction, we would be happy to care for animals other than those listed above.
We would also be open to long term house-sitting opportunities.

I arrive home to find house beautifully clean, garden tidy, and most of all, the animals content, healthy and well cared for. While I was away, a few issues with a cats health arose, which Cassy dealt with in the first instance and then contacted me for further planning and to keep me informed. ...

While I was away, a few issues with a cats health arose, which Cassy dealt with in the first instance and then contacted me for further planning and to keep me informed. I think she did a top-notch job!

Cassy & Andy were amazing sitters for Kuki and I can't thank them enough for coming to Gibraltar. They communicated well before their arrival, accepting the sit at fairly short notice and even accommodated my request for an extra day's cover. They made their travel plans without hesitation and ...
Cassy & Andy were amazing sitters for Kuki and I can't thank them enough for coming to Gibraltar. They communicated well before their arrival, accepting the sit at fairly short notice and even accommodated my request for an extra day's cover. They made their travel plans without hesitation and didn't request any help from me. Considering they were such a long way from home and coming from a place where public transport can be unpredictable, they were extremely self sufficient. I had the pleasure of meeting this delightful couple upon their arrival, and although I was rushing to commence my journey, we went to the supermarket together to get some supplies. Cassy & Andy are extremely conscientious and I had to insist that they use the tea bags and basics that are in the flat instead of buying their own. They left the flat incredibly clean and tidy, made the bed for my return home and left me a delicious cooked meal in the fridge. They really went far beyond expectations! Kuki was a contented little cat when I returned home and had clearly been well cared for. I can honestly say that Cassy and Andy are perfect sitters and I thoroughly recommend, they are extremely trustworthy and will provide you with a drama-free experience.
