Hi, we're Sam and Ben a professional non-smoking couple, married nearly 5 years ago, now we are living, and very much enjoying, a remote lifestyle and exploring the world together.
We also both work full time, I own my own travel business and Ben is a senior executive for a major childcare company, we have staff in global locations, so we can work anywhere there is a good WI-FI connection. We love kitesurfing, stand up paddle boarding, scuba diving and we're keen to try some winter sports like snowboarding, we also love to hike and enjoy watching the rugby, seeing live music and good food and we love animals.
Being trusted to mind someone's home and precious pets is a big thing, and we are very appreciative of that trust. And we promise to treat your home, and pets with the utmost care and respect always.
We strongly believe in maintaining your usual schedule for your pets, so they feel secure and loved while you are away. The health and happiness of your fur babies is always our highest priority. Having pets sleep with us is normal, so if that's what your fur babies are used to, and we have no issue with litter boxes etc. Between us, your pets will certainly be well catered for and spoilt!
We believe in honesty and integrity and we pride ourselves on our organisational skills. We are both responsible and reliable, neat and tidy and stick to our word.
Our own needs as house sitters are quite simple - as we like to stream movies and work online, we require good Wi-Fi (preferably unlimited so we don’t risk using all of your data!). We are both quite tech savvy and will email updates and photos as often as you wish while you are away.
If available we’d love the use of a car especially when traveling to housesits by air. Sam is the driver, she has a clean driving record and international drivers license.
Our travels are flexible and we are happy to travel almost anywhere in the world, depending on our budget and schedule. We will do everything we can to make your travels worry free and make coming home a pleasure and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Why we want to house sit
We've often helped friends and family, by being infromal housesitters for holidays. We have also been traveling extensively these past few years and recently decided to take the plunge and give up our home base in Melbourne, Australia and become full time digitals nomads and we love pets - so this is a great way to have both. We plan to spend 8 weeks in Japan for the Rugby World Cup come September but the rest of our year is open so we're looking for adventures and pets to snuggle.
Our experience
When in Australia we were fostering dogs and have previously loved and cared for our own pets. We have some experience with horses and we are open to caring for all sorts of animals and promise to treat your furry child children and home as if it was our own.
We've also lived abroad, Sam is originally from Scotland and Ben from New Zealand. And we've been living away for more then 6 months each year in the past two years, we re resourceful and flexible and with two of us we can make sure there is someone in your home no matter what, so you can go off and enjoy your vacation .
We are new to TrustedHouseSitters but we have been staying in AIRBNB homes for years so can provide references that way as well. You can learn more about us at awesomeadventurecouple dot com

Awesome house sitters, LOVED these two. From the beginning their infectious personality and attention to detail made us totally comfortable with leaving our three girls with new friends. Loved how Sam triple checked all our needs then followed up with what ever we requested.

Dogs were happy girls, and house was kept perfectly clean. Not to mention the little extras they left us unbeknown to us we came home to. Highly recommended and open opportunity to come sit for us anytime!- Organised

Sam and Ben were great! They clearly communicated everything and were very accommodating to come meet us and our cat before a last minute trip! We were totally put at ease meeting them - they are very easygoing and dependable. They gave us updates while we were away and they left our place even tidier than we did, even though they were here for a short period! We really appreciated them looking after our cat and our place and would definitely have them back.
