Why we want to house sit
We worked in the UK and France when we were young and we would love to return. As we now have children, we are looking to find a place that we can spend some quiet family time together.
Our experience
We are owners of a small rural property ourselves with dogs, cats, poultry and cattle and so we understand and love animals. Our own home is well over 100 years old, so we also understand the joy and responsibility of caring for such a place.

It was a pleasure to have Ben, Suzy, Gil and Estelle come to our home while we went on a holiday. We were welcomed back by Ben and Suzy with a hot cup of coffee, happy pets, delicious lasagne for dinner, linen washed and house and farm as we left it, if not better. Ben, Suzy, Gil and Estelle had a great rapour with our two dogs who obviously enjoyed their company. The other pets, ducks, guinea fowl, chooks, horses and cattle were all looked after, even to the point of spraying the bull to get rid of annoying insects.

Ben and Suzy kept our house and large, high energy dog for 3 weeks and we could not have been more pleased. They were extremely flexible, respectful and thoughtful. Our dog was happy and well loved and walked, and we came back to an immaculate house, garden and a home-cooked meal (!). I cannot say enough good things about Ben and Suzy and their adorable kids.
