About Nora
Hi animal lovers! :)
I think everyone has this one person in their friend circle that would run across the street if they see a cute dog. Well, that´s me. Although if I would see any other animal, I´d defenitley run too!!

Hi animal lovers! :)
I think everyone has this one person in their friend circle that would run across the street if they see a cute dog. Well, that´s me. Although if I would see any other animal, I´d defenitley run too!!
Anyway :) I am 24, from Hungary but I have been living in Vienna for over 10 years now, with short breaks in Budapest and Utrecht, Netherlands. I moved a lot since I am young so I learned how to be flexible and I became very communicative and extroverted. That´s also one reason why I started studying corporate communication, which I will finish next Semester. Currently I am doing my internship at a big Austrian company. Those 6 month couldn´t have gone by any quicker, so I am done in January.
A bit from the personal box: I love to meet new people (especially if they have pets) and get to know new places and cultures. So one could really say, that travelling is a true passion for me. Furthermore, I love dancing, singing, sports and always finding new ways of expressing my creativity. I learned myself how to play guitar and ukulele, now I´m trying to draw - although the emphasis is on "trying".
Moreover, I love decoration and interior design. For this reason I like to keep my room tidy and always ready for visitors. That´s why I perfectly understand the importance of keeping a place tidy or "the way I find it". Although I have to stay honest here by saying that it does get a little messy sometimes if I am very busy.
If I have spare time and I am not watching animal videos on a never ending loop, you can find me at IKEA. I love the concept and the origins of the company. Also, I very much enjoy spending time there thinking about all the possibilities how you can decorate and furnish a home, playing with kids, petting dogs and of course play the "who-knows-more-game" with my friends. :)
I hope I could give you at least a fraction of me and my personality. I am very happy to answer any questions and get in touch.
Love, N
Why I want to house sit
I do believe that houssitting offers a wonderful and unique opportunity to be abroad, get to know other places, homes and of course the huge candy is that you can look after animals. Since I live in Vienna working and studying, I do not have the chance at the moment to have a dog of my own. Which is really difficult because I have sooo much honest love to give to animals.
So I came across this article somewhere saying that people actually let you live in their home and let you look after their furry familymembers. - Heaven on earth.
I also never had any problems with taking care of a household since have been living without my parents from the age of 18 and I also lived alone for a while without a roommate.
Also, I originally wanted to do some voluntary work at a dog sanctuary in Santa Barbara, Costa Rica, but unfortunately that is out of my budget right now.
Nevertheless, I am so excited and motivated to fill a page with this experience in my book of life.
My experience
As I mentioned before, I always had dogs, cats and other pets. So I do have a lot of experience with animals. Also, once our dog had a bad accident. During that timeI learned a lot about how to take care of one if it´s sick/wounded and how fragile they can be.
In Vienna I sometimes look after the cats of my ex-boss and I go for walks with friends who have dogs. We always go to a dog park, where they all meet and play with each other. I love to observe their behaviour and realize how amazing and entertaining it is that they all have different personalities.
I don´t know if it counts as an experience, but I was babysitting and giving private lessons while I was in highschool. During University I joined a non-profit student organisation called "AT 4 HU" and I worked a long time in hospitality.
If you wish to see my cv I am happy to forward it to you. :)
