Why I want to house sit
I enjoy pet/house-sitting because I like spending time with animals and relaxing on my trips instead of rushing around. I also miss my own dogs in the USA and being around any animal makes me happier and feel purposeful. I also love the idea of trading the service of watching pets and a house for accommodation in a great location. Hopefully it's always a win-win!
My experience
I've had dogs and cats as pets my whole life. At one point my family had 3 black labs and 3 cats. I have experience caring for other people's pets, particularly in July 2016 in Switzerland dog-sitting and over New Years 2017 in Thailand also dog-sitting using this site. I'm comfortable taking care of cats or dogs, and I tend to travel alone which helps me be flexible on plans. I'm a caring individual and I can promise that I take this responsibility seriously.

Hello, my name is Marina Procópio and I am a friend and coworker of Christina Kottmann. She is a very kind, responsible, caring and proactive person. We are both teachers at an International school in Rio de Janeiro where we are responsible for the learning and well being of kids. She is well trusted by kids, parents, coworkers and our bosses. She has also pet sitted for both of my cats in two different occasions. She did a great job and my cats (who are a little skittish) now trust and welcome her presence and belly rubs.
