Hello, we are Rob and Tracey a Canadian couple traveling the world with our 7-year-old son, Makai. We have been traveling for 20 months now with 15 of those months housesitting and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Housesitting enables us to see a place from a local perspective and that`s how we love to travel. Caring for pets is the best part and helps with missing our dog back in Canada. Zulu, our beloved doggie is staying with his Grandma (Robs mom) back home.
I am a Retail Manager by trade and Rob is a retired Financial Advisor. We understand the importance of security and privacy from our former careers and we would bring that level of professionalism when working with you.
We have cared for different types of property in different climates including rural (in Canada) and remote tropical properties. Our experience with septic systems, chainsaws, snow removal and home renovation helps us manage assignments. We would love to care for your pets and your home and would treat them with tender care and respect as we would our own.

House sitting is great for our love for traveling and our passion to experience new cultures from a local perspective.
Our experience
We have owned property and traveled for extended periods so we understand how stressful it can be to ensure your property is well cared for while away. Rob has done a lot of handiwork and small renovations as well as managing a rural property in Canada. This experience can be helpful when caring for your property. We absolutely love animals and have had dogs, cats, fish and lizards as pets. It would be our pleasure and an honor to care for your pets and home.
We are extremely flexible and able to travel whenever because of our freelance business online. We are willing and able to take long term assignments as well.

Tracey and Rob were brilliant and we are now total converts to the concept of TrustedHouseSitters! Professional and reliable to a tee, the Tullis family looked after our hounds and house perfectly while we were away. Superb houseguests, they meticulously (and unnecessarily) replaced everything they used, including worn out batteries! It was great to come home to a house that was clean, with well-looked after dogs and a cooked meal for us all the share.
From start to finish the communication with the family was excellent and we felt very comfortable entrusting our house to them. Mackei is a perfectly polite little boy who loves to tell you about his computer games and can recount all the dogs they have sat for with ease and affection. He was fantastic with our nervous hound; giving her space until
she was comfortable with him and then servicing three dogs endless need for attention! In sum, a very positive experience for us thanks to the Tullis family. We wish them well for their future adventures.- Organised

I can not recommend Rob, Tracey and Makai enough for a house sit. They looked after my two small dogs and my house for a month while I went to live in Spain. I returned to find everything exactly as I left it (some bits even fixed...thanks for the roof in the garden Tracey!)

I put Rob on my car insurance and he kindly drove me to the airport and picked me up again, in exchange for being able to use the car while I was away. A great deal on both sides I think.
I had never had house sitters before but their references looked so good I trusted them completely, and was right to do so. They made friends with my neighbours and looked after my home and my dogs as if they were their own.
If you are looking for fabulous, trustworthy, capable, reliable house sitters (and you are lucky enough to get them!...) use Rob and Tracey. You will not find better.

Having just completed our first house-sit with Trusted Housesitters, we could not have been more impressed with the experience. Rob, Tracey and Makai were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. We were fortunate enough to spend some time with them before we left for our holiday and not only did they do a sterling job of looking after our beloved dog Alfie (who cried when they left), but we returned home to an immaculately clean and tidy house, which for me is such a joy.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective home-owners. We hope to cross paths with them again some day in the future and welcome them back into our home as we also feel we have made some great new friends.- Organised
