Okay, so I don't really whisper to pets, but I do get along great with them! I have a natural affinity for dogs and cats especially, but I also like birds, rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, etc. but I'm not so comfortable with snakes. I am self-employed as a consultant, work in the field of education and I am also a mature student attending university, so my schedule is flexible.
Why I want to house sit
I have a soft spot in my heart for all animals and have always lived with dogs / cats as part of my family. At this time I am without pets and I really miss them. I love to travel and while I have been to many wonderful places, there are so many more that I would like to visit and experience. I have rented people's homes through Airbnb properties in Canada and have received very positive feedback for leaving the homes spotlessly clean and tidy and have always maintained the philosophy of leaving a place in better condition than when you found it.
My experience
I know how important it is to be able to trust that your beloved pets and beautiful home are in good hands during your absence. I have cared for the dogs, cats and homes of different families when they have traveled for either short getaways, or extended vacations and enjoyed the experiences very much.
