Why we want to house sit
We care for pets of all kinds, we enjoy visiting new locales and we're also homeowners and have a lovely dog Oreo that we would love to try having a sitter come and keep her company too!
We can house-sit as a pair or single, whatever your needs require.
Our experience
I (Genevieve) previously have worked in vets offices and groom shops handling dogs and cats of all breeds.
Chris is very handy around the house and can be relied on to resolve household issues should a problem arise.
We currently volunteer in rescue and foster-failed with our dog Oreo.

Genevieve watched my dog Loki for four days while my husband and I were out of town. She took excellent care of both my home and Loki. Genevieve watched my dog Loki for four days while my husband and I were out of town. She took excellent care of both my home and Loki. The house looked exactly as I left it and Loki greeted us with lots of smiles and tail wags when we got home. He was one happy dog! During the coordination process, Genevieve stayed in excellent communication with me about her travel and arrival plans. While we were gone she sent me nice updates on Loki's well-being and was very quick to answer any questions I sent her way. I would highly recommend Genevieve as both a home and pet sitter and hope to have her care for Loki again in the future. :)

Genevieve drove from Toronto to Ottawa to house/pet sit for us. Gen arrived when expected and spent 4 nights with us. Genevieve drove from Toronto to Ottawa to house/pet sit for us. Gen arrived when expected and spent 4 nights with us. She cared for our home, pool, garden as well as our 3 cats, senior Border Collie and adorable but insane 12 week old Boxer pup. We returned to our home looking exactly as it had when we left and 5 happy, healthy pets. I am so happy and grateful and am pleased to give Gen the highest level of recommendation!

Genevieve housesat for me and my dog Forrest for almost 2 weeks in January 2016.
All went well and I was happy to have had her. Genevieve was stuck dealing with my broken refrigerator which suddenly quit, which I appreciate. My pet seemed well cared for and home was returned in good shape.
