I am a retired IT Manager and enjoy sports (soccer, swimming), walking, music and travelling. I'm a registered soccer referee with Ontario Soccer in Canada (which includes a mandatory police check) and I also volunteer as an Information Guide at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. I'm married with one daughter (29 yrs old - a teacher) and my wife works part time as the manager of a large banquet hall. We may be house sitting together or I may come on my own. We have a Jack Russell terrier (Sprite) who is a rescue dog and she has lots of energy and needs lots of walking. Growing up we had 3 cats, so I'm used to being around pets. I like to volunteer and have volunteered for Hemophilia Ontario, FIFA women's U20 World Cup and the Pan Am Games in Toronto. I'm originally from London, England but we have lived in Canada for the last 30+ years.
Why I want to house sit
I love animals and I love to travel, so it's a perfect fit for me. Being retired I have lots of free time. Hopefully my wife will be able to travel with me, depending on our itinerary.
My experience
I have sitting experience with friends houses while they are away and also taking care of pets when they have an emergency situation.
