Hello my name is Heather Henry, (B.Sc. Social Work, Master of Social Work, Registered Social Worker). I am duel citizen of Canada and Great Britain. I am married to Ottavio Tulini, (B.Sc. Phm. R.Ph) who also holds duel citizenship, Canadian and Italian. Ottavio is the owner and operator of two pharmacies and we the proud parents of four successful young adults. I was born in the UK and we enjoy visiting frequently as well as traveling to many other places in the world. I have recently retired from a Senior Director Social Work position and I am very excited and highly motivated to be able to commit a portion of my free time to caring for and enjoying the company pets and exploring new communities. Ottavio and I own our home and vacation properties in Italy and Montreal, Canada. We travel extensively, live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy being physically fit and spending time with our family and friends. I adore practicing yoga and exploring any activity that is creative. I am an avid gardener and I grow roses with a passion. We are very house proud and meticulously clean and tidy in our own home and any vacation property we access (see our Air B&B feedback profile). We understand how very important it is that you are confident that both your pets and property are well cared for when you are away and that the carers are sincere, trustworthy and responsible. Why I want to house sit
I want to house sit because I absolutely adore all animals and having the opportunity to live like a local in a community setting is very attractive to me. Although we travel extensively as a couple to vacation, pet sitting is something that I want to do as well. Having the opportunity to care for pets in their family home and living in is great fit for me at this time of life. I really like the concept of sharing resources and helping one another that house/pet sitting affords to the homeowner and sitter, it fits perfectly with my values, moral compass and social work background .
My experience
I have had the privilege of owning horses, dogs, Siamese and domestic cats, hamsters, birds, fish, guinea pigs and rabbits. I have cared for the pets and homes of friends, neighbors and family over the years. My parents were both raised in the country and I have spent many years visiting and helping family on their working farms. My father was a Thoroughbred racehorse trainer for over 40 years and I have had the opportunity to experience the thrills and challenges of that very special craft . I have been raised with a great respect and understanding of animals. My personal pet ownership and life experience have provided me with a strong knowledge of animal needs and the care and attention they require.

Heather exceeded our expectations in every respect. We had excellent communication with her both before her trip and while we were away, with regular updates & pictures showing that our little dog was clearly very happy and settled in their company. He had lots of long walks & cuddles and was generally extremely well cared after. Our home was also left very tidy, probably tidier than we had left it! with replacement provisions in the fridge and all the bed linen & towels clean. Heather and not forgetting her mother were altogether exceptionally considerate, conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. We can’t recommend them both highly enough’- Organised

Looking after Dazzy and our stay at Tina and Rodger’s beautiful home was a wonderful experience! Tina and Rodger were very welcoming and super organized, which was greatly appreciated by us. Dazzy the Westie is an absolute jem he is well behaved and he is easy to care for. He adores human interaction and affection, play time and his walks. Communication with Tina and Rodger was excellent from start to finish and they went out of their way to ensure our comfort and security in their home. They provided excellent instructions that included contact information of friends and family should we have needed any additional support while they were away. The location of their home is idyllic, it backs onto beautiful meadows and allows for magnificent country walks with Dazzy. The popular and equally beautiful Bookham Common is on their doorstep and the property is central to all the amenities you will need. I highly recommend pet/house sitting for this lovely family and their beautiful little Westie.

Heather was a real gem. We found her to be very responsible, caring, tidy and organized. This is the first time we used Heather and I would definitely use her again. While vacationing in Florida the week before, Heather came by to train for 2.5 hours before the assignment even began in order to familiarize herself with us, the house and most importantly, our 4 pets: a dog, two cats and a fish. She was very loving to our pets and took excellent care of them, particularly our ailing 10-year-old dog, who is, sadly, dying of heart disease and needed to be given medications twice a day and taken on frequent walks. Heather sent us an email update each day with photos, reassuring us the pets were safe, sound, and most importantly, happy. That gave us great peace of mind.
Upon our return, Heather was already packed up and ready to go, had cleaned the guest room, changed her linens, and left the house as tidy as it was when we left it. She even had a checklist that she had ticked off of tasks she had finished before her departure. I was very impressed with her and hope to see her again for another sit in the future. Heather is a really lovely, sensible lady and her care for our pets, our home and our family really showed. Thank you, thank you for making this so easy.- Organised

All round wonderful experience, starting from meeting this amazing family to the five days I spent enjoying their beautiful home and caring for their “very sweet and affectionate pets”. Maria and her family live in a lovely neighborhood close to all sorts of amenities and the beach.
Their pets are cherished, and it shows! Duke is beautiful, gentle and intelligent and wonderful company the two kitties are very affectionate and lots of fun too even Ollie the fish had personality. I chock it up to the all the love they get from their human family. I highly recommend this sit and look forward to keeping in touch with the family and sitting for them in the future.

Heather was an absolutely fantastic sitter! She was super easy to work with, asked lots of questions and kept in constant communication with us throughout the duration of our trip, which included lots of photos of her adventures with the dogs. There was no doubt in our minds that our pups were getting the same love and attention from Heather as they would get from us.
When we got home, the dogs were calm & relaxed and the house was in perfect order. In fact, she went out of her way to wash the bed sheets & towels, remake the bed and empty the trash – the house looked better than it did when she arrived. After a 17 hour drive, we appreciated coming home to tired dogs and a spotless house. We would rate Heather a 6 out 5 if we could!
Travel with ease knowing that she will provide top notch care for your pets. We highly recommend Heather and would happily welcome her back any time!- Organised

Brandon and Michael are a super couple, they are very friendly and totally accommodating, they sincerely made me feel very welcome in their clean and comfortable century home. They live in a historical central area of Buffalo with endless places to walk. Their home is located close to important points of interest, all sorts of amenities (great yoga studio) shops and restaurants. The Lads love their dogs very much which is evident in how well they are cared for, how well they are trained and how well behaved the dogs are inside and outside of the home. The dogs were a pleasure to care for, Peter is a sensitive and very intelligent dog, his pal Dolly the beautiful English Mastiff is gentle, playful and oh so cuddly. The dogs are full of personality which I totally enjoyed, I highly recommend this sit.
