I grew up at farm but now I live with my daughter in a flat and I intend to feed our hunger for "animal love" and travelling at the same time now ;-)
About Anna
I grew up at a farm house with farm animals, dogs and cats, so I have always loved animals. At 20 I moved to Olomouc, Czech Republic, to study Art history and Spanish philology. At 23 I married my "first big love", but he wasn´t exactly a pet lover and living in a flat and leaving it at weekends and travelling quite a lot we found it impossible ...
I grew up at a farm house with farm animals, dogs and cats, so I have always loved animals. At 20 I moved to Olomouc, Czech Republic, to study Art history and Spanish philology. At 23 I married my "first big love", but he wasn´t exactly a pet lover and living in a flat and leaving it at weekends and travelling quite a lot we found it impossible to have pets ourselves.
During my studies, I started to run a fashion shop with local fashion and accessories brands and ran it for 7 years - I even tried to run it having a baby at the same time, but it wasn´t a very lucky decision – it was wearing me out and my husband decided to replace me with his new colleague. C'est la vie, and I had to define ME again - I sold my shop and I had some time for trying out something new. My daughter Adina is 3.5 year old now, she´s attending kindergarten and me I became a manager of information center and shop of Palacký University in Olomouc.
I feel very strongly about my home village, a place where my roots are. I love it with all its people, local habits, fields, river, I love to ride a bike there, run or just walk around. Another part of my personality lives the city live with its perks - picnics in the park, having coffee breaks with lots of friends all the time, going to exhibition openings, concerts, various "events", also running the shop and being "someone inspirational" for many people ;-) I love music and dancing - I sang in a church choir, I love singing folk song to my baby girl, and I also like listening to music. I´m interested in industrial design, interior design, fashion... And what is also very important, I guess, - I DON´T SMOKE AND I CAN DRIVE A CAR.
I’ve always loved traveling and meeting new people – whenever possible, we hosted travellers in our flat via CouchSurfing, previously via Hospitality Club and met lots of people from Europe and even students from Indonesia. We also visited some hosts in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Romania etc. I spent one summer at Mallorca as an au pair of 2 children and a rabbit - the mother of "my children" was also divorced so I was alone with children during the day, taking care of them and of the house as well. I spent half a year on a study exchange program in Granada and travelled a lot in Spain. In Granada, I also lived in a very nice flat with a dog (Stabyhoun) and took care of the flat too. With my husband, we travelled quite a lot, visited numerous destinations across Europe, later visited Mexico, Domenica and Guadalupe, Marocco, Jordan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
Why I want to house sit
I love exploring new places and people and I would like to show and teach this to my baby girl as well. We travelled a lot with my husband, but mostly with money he earned, it started to be more "tourism" than "travelling" and for me it´s much more reasonable to travel rather in a "slow traveling mode" - just because I find it much more "intensive" - you can have enough time to fall in love with the place and absorb the spirit of it… OK, let´s admit I don´t want to have "casual holiday" so that’s quite big motivation for me, together with our hunger for "animal love", for being a house/pet sitter ;-).
My experience
As for my experience..
I’ve never had any animal as a pet in a flat, that is may be sad true, but still I have enough experiences I guess ;-)
First of all, we´ve already been to house and pet sit for 10 days in May 2017 in London. We both enjoyed it very much, Adina was so in love with the dog, a stuffy, so she even cried while we have to leave him and she is dreaming about heaving the same dog at home.
As for another experiences, I grew up at a farm house full of farm animals, 2 dogs (a German Shepherd and a Dachshund, taken from a dog shelter) and lots of cats, so I´m used to take care of them. Adina loves spending time with animals, dogs and cats as well. In our flat in Olomouc we don´t have any pets but we go to my parent’s house to the countryside almost every weekend and if not, we visit some friends – the more animals in the house the better ;-) Even in the town, Adina loves to visit pet shops at least once a week, having coffee in one of the "cat-cafes" in the town or spending an afternoon walk with some friends who have dogs.
As for the housesitting ability - I have just one experience as a house sitter, but I´m 32 years old, adult and responsible person - owner of a flat and especially, mother of a baby ;-). My parents taught me responsibility, diligence, cleanliness and respect to all creation of the God, starting with my own body and soul, everything alive on the planet and the planet and nature itself, equally as I have respect and responsibility for my own belongings and property, I do the same with the property of my parents, friends or anyone and I´m ready to treat well all your "treasures" - both pets and belongings. I can seamlessly clean up, water plants and do any house work in the household, I can do gardening and some DIY.
I´m ready to follow all your instructions, learn everything about your pet habits and needs, I´m ready to come few days before, Skype, send you regular updates about your pets and house/flat.

Anna and her daughter were amazing guests in our home. Blake was very happy and content when we arrived home and the house was cleaner than when we left it! We'd have Anna house sit/dog sit anytime!
