About Linda
I'm in love with animals (especially raccoons) and everything connected with traveling (geography, aviation and of course travel by itself) So this website is like made exactly for me. When I got a lazy mood I like to sit on couch with my dogs and watch TV series and movies all day long (I also worked in cinema for 2 years). But most of my time ...

When I got a lazy mood I like to sit on couch with my dogs and watch TV series and movies all day long (I also worked in cinema for 2 years). But most of my time I spend studying for school because medicine school isn't easy. I also like learning languages, I speak Czech, slightly English and French. I was learning German long time ago, I can remember some basics but that's pretty much all. I would like to learn Spanish, Korean and American sign language in future :)
Why I want to house sit
As a solo traveler, I really like the idea of spending time with pets while being abroad. Whether you want it or not it's really easy to get homesick, lonely and useless but with pet by your side everything is instantly more cheerful. And as a vet student, animals are part of my every day live so each time spend with new animals even though if they have a problematic behavior or are hard to take care of, it's another new working experience for me.
My experience
I have two lovely furry friends at home (westie and flatcoated-like dog). So from all kind of domestic animals I've had most experience with dogs so far. But while growing up I spent almost all my summer holidays and weekends with my grandparents on country-side, they had plenty of animals from cats, poultry to pigs or goats. So it was really easy for me to develop a good relationship with animals. And that's probably the biggest reason I decided to become vet and also that my first dog suffered epilepsy and I was helpless then every time she got an epileptic fit, so I began to be interested in Epilepsy and other neurology diseases. For now, I've been studying veterinary medicine in Brno, Czech Republic for three years. My school give me opportunity to learn work with all kinds of animals mostly pets and farm animals but also with wild ones like birds of prey. I study in different city my family (including my dogs) live, therefore I often miss my dogs a lot so in my free time I like to take for a walk dogs from shelters or my friends dogs and sometimes I'm also petsitting them for few days. One summer we were taking care about donkeys of my father's friend in France and it was an amazing experience so I like to associate myself with idea of this website.
