I am a student of International Development & Social Sciences, who loves to travel and discover new places - both cities and countryside. I have a passion for sports and the outdoors. Pets have been a part of my life since my childhood, from guinea pigs, over cats and dogs, to horses. Since I am a student and live in small apartments, I cannot keep pets of my own - which is why I'd love to take care of yours.
Why I want to house sit
I love traveling and exploring the world. House sitting gives you that opportunity and especially also brings you to places that are off the map for regular travelers. Additionally it often gives you a calmer and prettier environment than any hotel could.
Apart from traveling, reading, and doing sports, I also love pets and I do miss having my own dogs and cats around me, ever since I've been living in student accommodation, where pets would not feel comfortable. Thus I came across house sitting, where I hope to connect my two passion for traveling with the chance to have animals around me.
My experience
I have been living by myself for many years and know how to keep my surroundings clean and tidy. My family has had pets for years - and cats and dogs have been around me since my childhood. Therefore I know exactly what they want and need and know what responsibilities come along with having pets. I also have been working in my neighbor's garden and taken care of my own plants, so if you do have any, I will make sure that they'll be fine when you return.

Simon did a great job caring for Scarlett and my apartment. I felt immediately confident in him when I met him and he was very responsive to my emails. He checked with me on small things related to my cat because he didn't want to disrupt what she was used to. He was willing to come a day early to meet me and my cat even though it meant leaving his family soon after Christmas. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Simon as is a very open-minded, relaxed and polite person. He doesn't need much to be content. Simon is interested in many things, such as culture, politics, economics, sports and especially enjoys meeting new people. He is also happy spending some quiet time by himself reading. With his pets at home he has always been very caring, I have seen him many times just sitting with our cat or dog petting them, looking perfectly satisfied. Simon is very reliable.
