my name is Dany and I live in the most exciting city of Germany - Berlin. 20 years ago, I moved to Berlin for my first degree in Social Work/Social Education and worked for several years with young adults in youth centres. Since 2003, I work in the cultural, music and event industry. First as an employee, since 2005 as a self-employed person. I'm a culture, art and music enthusiast. From my passion for music, I founded a small independent music label in 2005 and released several records by artists from Europe but also USA and Canada - therefore I have an extensive record collection... The last years I worked in the Artist Management for various music festivals in Germany. In order to further my professional development, I made my master’s degree in management in the field of organizational development last year. I am currently working on the publication of my research results.
Although I live in the big city, I love nature and I like to be outside - no matter if mountains and valleys, meadows and fields, lake or sea. I love to go hiking, sauna bathing, swimming, jogging, cycling, gardening, being creative, live healthy, hardly drink alcohol, non-smoking and eat vegan/vegetarian for 30 years now! I´m quiet, clean, well-organized, active, trustworthy, mindful, humorous, respectful person with deep respect for our planet and its inhabitants - flora, fauna and humans.
I took responsibility for pets/animals at the age of 10 and fed the cats daily in our riding stable. I rode 13 years and had several foster horses in the time. I am not afraid of animals and get along well with all kind of animals. I was a foster home for my veterinarian for a while and I took care of dogs from the animal protection. This is how my current dog 'Benno' came to me. He has a rare disease that can be fatal if carelessness occurs. He must take medication daily. He was almost blind because of cataracts until a year ago. I had him operated on and since then he can see 100 percent again, but he must take eye drops for life and you always must keep an eye on inflammation.
I am a very reliable person and take your instructions to your animals very seriously. I give my dog 'Benno' only to selected and reliable people. So I share your concern for your pets.
I have a 3rd party liability insurance that covers damages abroad and includes the sitting of pets also.
Why I want to house sit
I'm looking forward caring for your lovely pets and understand the value of caring for your home. I'm considerate of other people's property.
House/apartment exchange and house/pet sitting are the best ways to travel because you can experience the world from a locals' perspective. Its a win-win situation for both sides.
I have a request: I expect mutual trust and respect. I also have privacy and expect it to be respected - hidden cameras are unacceptable. Trust is a prerequisite for both sides.

AWESOME! Daniela was great. In fact we were not able to do an in-person handover and she managed just fine. AWESOME! Daniela was great. In fact we were not able to do an in-person handover and she managed just fine. She met the neighbors, our kitty cat was well cared for and very happy and she was the perfect fit. She was present and at home enough to keep our furry company and was also able to enjoy the city! I think our puss is sad she left. 5 stars all around. If we ever go away again - she'd be first on our list if she was available. Thank you Dany - it was a real relief for us and the furry is happy! Thanks for also sending photos. And the house looked amazing upon her return. Take care Dany.
