After studying voice and economics (I know: what a combination!) I worked world-wide as an artists manager. I also held positions as Head of Marketing in a technology company and worked in the field of Executive Search. I recently joined a good friend of mine to work on a start-up company. Since our office is virtual, we have the privilege to work from wherever in the world, as long as we have wifi. I am travelling with my business partner. So, in fact we are in two to take care of your home and pets
I am more or less fluent in 4 languages (German, English, Italian and French) and speak a couple more with the help of my hands and feet (Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch).
I am a proud mother of three wonderful grown-up children living in New York, Los Angeles and London. I love music, any kind of music, but classical just a little bit more. Besides travelling I love reading, long walks and gardening. Needless to say that I love animals.
Why I want to house sit
I simply love to travel and experience places and countries as if I lived there. Since I love pets and taking care of plants and a garden, house-sitting is an ideal opportunity.
My experience
Before my husband got sick and passed away I owned several properties in Italy and the South of France and had great pleasure in taking care of them myself. When I sold the homes the most difficult thing always was to say goodbye to the trees and rose bushes I had. Luckily friends and family frequently call me to take care of their homes and pets which gives me the wonderful opportunity to get my hands dirty in their gardens :-) .
