We are a couple (60,65) from German, lived 12 years in California. Now we are retired and have time to travel. Our favorite hobbies are outdoor activities, like hiking, biking and swimming.

Why we want to house sit
We had the opportunity over Christmas 2015 and 09/16 to house sit for a friend with 2 cats and a dog and liked it very much. We also lived with another Germany couple together in a big house with 2 cats and a little dog for 3 years.
Our experience
As homeowners in Germany, we are used to caring for a property and dealing with any issues that may arise (Siggi is a handyman since many years). We had 2 golden retriever and a cat, what means lots of experience in looking after pets and love the company of them :-)

We were so lucky to find Ute and Siggi - they are the perfect house sitters. Not only are they great and warm-hearted people, they were easy with everything: The sit started with a dinner prepared by them in our own home, and we spent a lovely evening together. During three weeks, Ute and Siggi kept the house in perfect shape and looked after everything including the garden. Whatever came up, they were handling it without any problem. What‘s best: They are very gifted in looking after rabbits. We don’t know their secret, but Mopsi and Hoppel loved them from the start and were happy and relaxed when we came back. Ute sent pics and updates every now and then so we knew everything was fine. When we returned, Ute had even prepared a welcome cake! We can only recommend them and say thank you for staying in our house!!

Ute and Siggi have been wonderful house sitters. You cannot immagine having more lovely, reliable and trustworthy persons taking care of your dog and house.
