About Eva & Zoltan
We are a young (41-38) non-smoking couple from Hungary who love to travel and hike, discover new cities and the wonders of nature, meet new people and cultures. At home we live in a big city in a flat with almost no green space, so we spend our free time in the country whenever we can.

We are a young (41-38) non-smoking couple from Hungary who love to travel and hike, discover new cities and the wonders of nature, meet new people and cultures. At home we live in a big city in a flat with almost no green space, so we spend our free time in the country whenever we can.
In our relatively small flat unfortunately there is no place for pets (Zoltán’s family have a grey parrot in the parents house for almost 20 years), but we have all kind of plants in the rooms and on the balcony. We love animals, and according to our experience during earlier housesitting it seems they also accept us.
Éva is a professional cellist and music teacher, Zoltán is fortunate being able to work from anywhere with a decent internet connection. We speak Hungarian, English and German.
We are available for house care on school holidays, weekends and during summer holiday, ca. between 25th June until 24th August.
Why we want to house sit
We have been in many countries and cities so far, we like spending our days in appartements more than in hotels, because we can experience the local atmosphere this way better. When we discovered this webpage, we immediately knew this is something for us.
We are interested in nature, architecture, theatre, and especially local and classical music – as music is an international language that connects people!
Our experience
Éva lived a year in South-England (near Winchester in a small village), she did house care at various families, took dogs for a walk. Some years later we returned on a summer and gained some further experience in house sitting as a couple.
We mainly looked after dogs, cats, chickens, horses, sheeps, fish, hamster and we did some gardening too.

Éva is our best petsitter. We ask her every time when we need help to care about our dogs for years. She is very kind person. Our dogs Maya, Molly and Matyi is very happy and excited when Éva is arrive, they love her and they like to playing with her.
Our dogs are bolognese.

Eva and her husband Zoltan looked after our house and animals (ponies, cats, chickens and guinea pigs) in 2016. They did a fantastic job. Everything was left extremely neat and tidy, in fact tidier than when we left to go on holiday! I would absolutely recommend them.

Eva and Zoltan have housesat for me a couple of times over the years. I live in the country and have sheep, chickens, geese, and two dogs. They have a very caring nature for the animals and our home and are very tidy and reliable. I could not recommend them more highly and without question would...
