About Lorraine & Aidan
We are a semi-retired couple whose family has grown up leaving us free to enjoy travelling to new places. We would characterise ourselves as homely people. Most nights, you can find us at home with a glass of wine and a plate of cheese watching Netflix. We are both non-smokers.

Why we want to house sit
We are animal lovers, and to us, looking after your pets and taking good care of your home is a perfect way to spend our holidays. We like the opportunity to visit new places and make new friends. We especially love gardening and pottering about.
Our experience
Aidan grew up in the countryside with dogs , cats, rabbits, hamsters, canaries, goldfish,donkeys and horses all part of the family! I am passionate about my garden. We are a quiet, gentle and kind couple who will take great care of your pets and home.
To us, caring for animals means more than just feeding them. As house sitters we take pride in making sure that your pets are well looked after. We believe that this also involves spending time with time with them and being sensitive to their needs and routines. We have experience in looking after rescue dogs and understand the need to be extra sensitive around them.
We are home owners ourselves and we know how important "home" is . You can rest assured that we will take care of your home as if it were our own. Upon your return you will find your house clean and tidy, and a "welcome home" meal prepared. Lorraine is a keen gardener, and loves pottering around the garden giving all the attention to plants that is needed.

Lorraine and Aidan are just wonderful! They travelled especially to come and look after Rhiley and Keegan, who both took an instant liking to this lovely couple! Regular updates on the dogs with photos and stories of their antics and we just knew that our dogs were being loved and taken care of ...
Lorraine and Aidan are just wonderful! They travelled especially to come and look after Rhiley and Keegan, who both took an instant liking to this lovely couple! Regular updates on the dogs with photos and stories of their antics and we just knew that our dogs were being loved and taken care of as if we were home with them. Our very enthusiastic hounds were blessed with treats and two walks a day, with extra cuddles and relaxing in the sunshine (we have a lot to live up to now that we're home). Ours was a bit of a stressful time away, and then to come home to a tasty meal, delicious red wine, a clean and tidy house and garden, and two very happy and content hounds was the most incredible relief.
A very big thank you from the Sisters Kane, and Rhiley Blu and Keegan too, to Lorraine and Aidan, for all your help. Thank you for taking such good care of these two, and for looking after our humble home. Hopefully, we can get together over a bottle of red when next you're up this way! The dogs would love to see you again, too.- Organised

Lisa and Tove great us a lovely warm welcome - we felt spoilt by all they provided for us. The 2 dogs were very settled with us. They are very relaxed and happy dogs.

I arrived home to 2 very happy doggies. Lorraine and Aiden were lovely. Victor and Walter bounded straight to Lorraine who knelt down for the perfect introduction. I received photos and videos while I was away so knew the dogs were happy. Everything was tidy, even the grass had been mown, and 'e...
I arrived home to 2 very happy doggies. Lorraine and Aiden were lovely. Victor and Walter bounded straight to Lorraine who knelt down for the perfect introduction. I received photos and videos while I was away so knew the dogs were happy. Everything was tidy, even the grass had been mown, and 'en plus' there was supper all ready for me waiting in the fridge. I would thoroughly recommend Lorraine and Aiden. Totally reliable and very kind thoughtful house sitters.
