Why I want to house sit
I fell in love with Japan on the day I landed in Tokyo. Having lived in Japan nearly 2 years now, I miss having furry friends by my side. I hope that joining this site will allow me to meet some cute furry animals to cuddle with and care as my own.
As a pet owner all my life, I fully understand the responsibilities that come with pet care. Caring for your pets would be a great way for me to be reminded of the love and joy I feel around animals while helping you enjoy your time away with peace of mind that your loved ones are being cared for like my own!
My experience
I am a dog person as my family loves dogs. I have even learned some tricks to train them. I also have experience caring for cats, fish, hamsters and rabbits.
Let me tell you one of the most amazing incidents that happened to me a few years ago.
One day whilst I was walking my baby (2 year-old Sharpei), he and I stumbled upon a new momma dog behind some bushes with her 9 wee babies. Of course, at this stage, she was furiously protecting her pups when she noticed our presence. I couldn't have walked away as I knew she was a stray. That and the fact that it was starting to rain and it was going to be very cold and the uncertainty of the well-being of the pups were all just making my heart sore. The mom obviously won't be going anywhere just yet so I decided to get some umbrellas to put over them in the bushes. After the rain subsided, I got some water and food for her and prayed that she comes out of there soon. Eventually, she got to trust me and came out from the bushes, smelled my hand and left. Yeah, she just left. She was skin and bones, had no collar on so I had no idea where she was going or if she even had the ability to walk far given that she just went through such an ordeal that giving birth is. I took the chance to get to the pups and got them into my dry, warm garage. Thank goodness all of them were well and alive! Can you imagine that? I cared for them and after a few hours, the momma dog came back and she stayed with me for a while. Needless to say, my own dog was jealous and excited at the same time. To cut to the ending, everyone was adopted including the mother. :)

Shui was a truly sensitive, responsible, kind person. She sent photos of the dogs almost everyday and always told me what they were doing. She took extremely good care of the house and was totally respectful and considerate of everything. The car was carefully maintained and not over used. It seems Shui was also very open and friendly with everyone in the village. She seemed to quietly win over many hearts. I thought she was very lovely and my shibas adored her. I felt very lucky to have had such a trustworthy , honest, caring person to take care of my home and shiba family . I highly recommend Shui to anyone who is interested in a wonderful pet and house sitter. She is also an amazing photographer. Her photos of my shibas are beautiful!

I am very happy and pleased with her. She petsitted 3 of my cats for 2weeks and a half. The best thing is that she updates me their photos via whatsapp, which helped a lot as I miss my for my fur kids.
