We are a happy couple that decided to change their lives, leave our lovely city of Barcelona and start traveling. We packed our stuff, left our rented apartment and since October 2017 we are living out of our backpacks.
Victor is Spanish. He used to work in hospitality industry but then he met Hana, a girl from the Czech Republic, and she taught him online marketing. That is why we are able to travel and work at the same time. We both specialize in online advertising.
We speak Spanish, English, Czech and Catalan.
We are reliable, trust-worthy, non-smoking couple. We might be young but you will not find us getting drunk and having parties in your home. Our objective is to focus on our business development, keep your place clean and organized, make your pets happy and give them lots of love.
Why we want to house sit
We have been pet lovers since childhood.
Hana grew up with turtles, fish and her grandparent's dogs (German Shepard mix and Dachshund). She was always dreaming about having her own dog but her parents didn't allow her having one and then she moved to Spain so there has not been an ideal time so far. She read a lot of dog books and saw all of the episodes of Cesar Millan's TV shows. :)
Victor grew up around dogs. In his family they always had one or more dogs at the same time (various Golden Retrievers, Yorkshire mix). He also had turtles, fish and canary birds. Once he was pet sitting a ferret.
When you combine our love for animals and our way of working, house sitting suits us down to the ground. We know it is hard to leave your beloved pets behind but we promise we will care for them as if they are our own and we will look after everything as lovingly and carefully as you do.
Our experience
So far we pet sitted a golden retriever and yorkshire mix three times for different time periods, one month was the longest but it was outside of the Trusted Housesitters platform.
On the Trusted Housesitters we housesitted a staffy Puke and a cat Foxy in New Zealand. Later we took care of two lovely pomeranians Ellie and Louie in Australia. Our longest housesitting so far was almost one month taking care of two border collies Sierra & Nevada and two cats Gizmo and Nali (we called them tigers :) they were huge) in Australia. Hana loved practicing and learning the dogs new tricks (Hana thaught them "roll over" and "take a bow"), Victor took them running various times and we also enjoyed daily walks and playing fetch.
When we started travelling we knew we wanted to get the most out of it. When we were in Sri Lanka we volunteered in a dog & cat shelter called Tikiri Trust. We had a great experience. The dogs and cats there need love, socialising and grooming and this was mainly our task on a day to day basis. It was amazing to see the change in their behaviour towards us over the time.
Later, during our stay in Koh Tao, Thailand, Hana was volunteering in a local animal clinic. She was helping with their daily tasks and tool maintenance. The clinic owned three dogs and had a cat shelter so her job was also to make the cats and dogs happy and play with them.
We also have tried Couchsurfing. While still in Barcelona we shared our extra room with couchsurfers and showed them around the city. During our travels we were hosted by amazing people, we got to learn about their culture and became friends.
Hana was working three summers in the USA as a pool lifeguard and one od her duties was to take care of the pool. It might be useful in case you have a pool.
We are open-minded and willing to learn anything in order to house sit up to your expectations.

Hana and Victor were amazing house sitters. They arrived a day early to stay with us and get to know us, the dogs (2 border collies) and cats, and our general routine. Hana and Victor were amazing house sitters. They arrived a day early to stay with us and get to know us, the dogs (2 border collies) and cats, and our general routine. They walked the dogs regularly and kept them entertained, and Hana worked on teaching them new tricks. They kept us updated with videos and photos and we felt confident that the house and animals were well looked after. They looked after the yard and gardens. The house was perfectly clean when we returned and they cooked a Spanish omelette for when I got home. I would happily recommend Hana and Victor as house sitters.

Hana and Victor recently house/pet sat for my two Pomeranians for two weeks. They sent regular updates and photos. The dogs were very happy when I returned home, they were brushed and well fed. They were taken for walks every day. My house was immaculately clean on my return. Two very nice people.

5 star plus plus!!! Hana and Victor were the dream sitters. They looked after our staffy and cat so well that i don't think the pets wanted us home. They're both super friendly, reliable, tidy, flexible and totally trustworthy. I was beyond impressed with how organised they were...they arrived fo...
5 star plus plus!!! Hana and Victor were the dream sitters. They looked after our staffy and cat so well that i don't think the pets wanted us home. They're both super friendly, reliable, tidy, flexible and totally trustworthy. I was beyond impressed with how organised they were...they arrived for a visit the day before our trip armed with questions about the house and our pets...questions i wouldn't have even thought to ask! They sent photo updates while we were away and even made us a Spanish omelette to eat after our trip (they seriously couldn't get much better!) When they left after the initial visit, I was 110% confident that we'd been absolutely treated to get them locked in. Our staffy clearly loved having them to stay too. I'd have them back in a flash...these guys are pet/house sitting perfection!!
