We are a couple that has travelled the world as part of my role as an international school administrator. Most recently we have lived in Barcelona, Mumbai, Oman, Hong Kong and now in Madrid. Whilst I have worked as head of school in Barcelona, Mumbai and Madrid, my wife, who is a qualified lawyer from Colombia, has looked after our two children...
We are a couple that has travelled the world as part of my role as an international school administrator. Most recently we have lived in Barcelona, Mumbai, Oman, Hong Kong and now in Madrid. Whilst I have worked as head of school in Barcelona, Mumbai and Madrid, my wife, who is a qualified lawyer from Colombia, has looked after our two children or taught Spanish at IB level. We both speak English and Spanish well. Our son is about to graduate from school and our 16 year old daughter will be with us, with our little Maltese terrier, Bowie. We are a house proud couple who have normally taken all of our furniture with us on our travels, making us feel at home wherever we are. We are now looking for a place to settle, so that we can open a small airbnb and retire, so we are particularly interested in staying in the south of Spain.
Why we want to house sit
As I said above, we are looking for temporary accommodation while we look for something more permanent in the south of Spain. We are keen to look after a place where we can practice our skills as housekeepers, possibly earning a little if there is extra work involved.
Our experience
Together we have an ideal combination of the types of skills that would make such a proposition work well. We speak both Spanish and English, I am used to running an organisation and am very competent with a computer. My wife is a house proud organiser who is used to training and working with support staff. Our daughter is a willing partner, just doing her IGCSEs and hoping to go on to do A Levels. Bowie, our dog, is an adorable bundle of fluff who has quickly become part of our family and a great help in introducing us to the neighbours.

They have also lived extensively overseas as part of their working lives and are familiar with many different cultures.
