Mother of 8 rescue cats in Phuket Thailand

I have been living in Phuket for the last 7 years, after living and working in Hong Kong.
I adopted two kittens out of a litter of five in 2013, after rescuing the mother in stormy weather two days before she gave birth.
Somehow, that number has now become 8! Truth is, stray cats come and go in Thailand, I have been trying to trap and neute...

I adopted two kittens out of a litter of five in 2013, after rescuing the mother in stormy weather two days before she gave birth.
Somehow, that number has now become 8! Truth is, stray cats come and go in Thailand, I have been trying to trap and neuter whoever I can, and a few decided to stay and join the family. The latest additions are two ginger brothers from a litter of four, found living by the rubbish bins of a bus parking area... the two sisters found homes and the two brothers stayed with me. I love my fur babies.
I am a non-smoker. I enjoy yoga, the gym, and eating! I also scuba dive regularly, either on day trips in Phuket or longer trips abroad.
Why I want to house sit
Although I enjoy the slower pace of island life in Phuket, I do feel the need to travel every now and then. Also my parents live in the UK so I have an annual trip there for up to two months. I am looking to go back to the UK more often in the future.
Since I do not work, I try to take longer trips and pace myself in terms of energy and stomach space for good food... I arrange for cat-sitters for my cats when I go away but I still miss them and their company. I also feel I could give a cat or cats a lot of love and attention while traveling if only I had a cat. So far I have just been trying to make friends with all the cats I meet on the streets, in the UK, Turkey, etc.
My experience
I am a home owner and have used this site to find housesitters for my Phuket house and cats. I will treat your home as if it is my own, just as I expect my sitters to treat my house.
I have traveled extensively and am independent and comfortable in new surroundings. I have done cat-sitting in Barcelona and house-sitting in Geneva recently, each time for around two weeks.
I have some experience with giving medication since my 8 rescue cats in Phuket have had various illnesses over the years, including cat flu, urinary tract infection, fungal infection, bite wounds, etc. I have given eye drops, pills, paste, cream, showers, and even administered IV on one of them for a few days.
I also do some rescue work locally, catching, de-worming, vaccinating and spay/neutering cats, as well as help feed and socialise them.
