Film Producer seeks peace and quiet and time best spent with cats, dogs, chickens, horses, pigs, goats - really whatever you have as animal companions. I've lived in varied places - from Los Angeles ("home"), to New York, Cairo, and Nairobi. I've always been busy with the local KSPCA, rescue, shelter in every community. It's not unusual to find me in a parking lot or stopping traffic in the middle of a road to rescue a stranded animal. I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always managed to have my pets with me. I've recently just had to put down my elder cat and so this site provides me an opportunity for a bit of travel with the really wonderful bonus of being around animals.
Why I want to house sit
I've just come out of living in Kenya for several years and before that - Cairo, America and other destinations. I'm single and have no children and want to start seeing more and working a bit less. House sitting is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a new locale while enjoying the comforts of a home. I avoid hotels whenever possible. Adding pet sitting to the house sitting is ideal. I have had pets my entire life from cats, dogs, mice, rats, birds, fish and whatever else I managed to find and rescue. I have traveled extensively and am not put off by new cities/towns, neighbors and cultures. I'd like to travel more and work less (my new mantra) and this is a great opportunity. Find me on linked in.
A passion for travel (I have visited well over 140 countries) and an ability to take care of someone's home like it's my own. I'm quiet, non-smoking and working my way towards being a vegan. I easy navigate different cultures, languages - and even manage to drive on the "wrong side of the road" and survive. I've taken care of sick/injured animals and so pets with some health challenges are not an issue. I have a fairly quiet lifestyle and enjoy relaxing in home environments while getting to know the local surroundings. I'm private and go out of my way to leave spaces the same, if not better, than I found them... I understand animals and enjoy their personalities and needs and do every thing possible to make them comfortable while their family is away.
