Why we want to house sit
House sitting gives us opportunity to travel, experience lots of places but in a more authentic way, hoping for new experiences to enhance our retirement. Proving ourselves as being a good choice to trust your pets and house with, as we did in the past, when using house sitters ourselves.
Our experience
As we have been on both ends of the house sitting enterprise having an understanding of what a client would expect of a house sitter is key. An ability to take your place when you leave and replicate as near as possible care of the pets and home. Our experience since joining the site has been completely positive lots of great reminiscences to make us smile. Enhanced DBS check available.

We have just had Chris and John sitting for us while away on holiday and have to say they are true professional sitters. No fuss, drama or complications. They are both very organised, capable and easy going . While we were away Chris sent several reassuring messages of general welfare and activity, plus snaps of Phoebe and Dottie thoroughly indulged or enjoying themselves.
And what a comforting joy on our return from a long tiring flight to find all creature inhabitants and home clean, healthy and very relaxed and happy!
We can not recommend this couple highly enough and sincerely hope that we can lure them back to us again !- Organised

Chris & John came to look after Monty for us over Christmas. They were very respectful of our home & both handover on arrival & departure were managed by them in a sensitive & non intrusive manner. They communicated with us just enough to let us know all was well without overdoing it! And we could tell Monty had been well walked & looked after when we got home. The house was lovely & clean, bed stripped & the linen had been washed. Super impressive & very much appreciated on the return to our home. I would have them back in a heartbeat as I am sure would Monty & totally recommend them to others who are wanting solid, reliable Housesitters.

Chris and John were wonderful. We left them with our rescue dog, Mousa. We have only had Mousa for a few months and he's still settling in and they were so kind to him. I came back to find Mousa jumping all over them and wagging his tail with happiness; I nearly cried. Also for the first few hours of them leaving he sat looking longingly at the front door hoping for them to come back. I JUST CAN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH. The house was spotless and they had washed their own linen. What more could you ask for?
