Hello, my name is Rosemary and I am a 58 year old single (divorced) lady who loves to travel the world. At home I am a self employed gardener working very hard from April through to December every year and then leaving the UK behind to head off to warmer climates for the winter ie January, February and March.
IN 2019 I WILL TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA AND TASMANIA:
I WILL BE IN SYDNEY IN JANUARY
TASMANIA FOR 6 WEEKS WITH HIRE CAR
AND IN PERTH TOWARDS THE END OF MARCH
I have a passion for music and spend many weekends during the summer months watching great live bands and dancing at blues music festivals all over the UK.
I enjoy walking/trekking/hiking and love being outdoors and active. I love nature and wildlife and learning about the natural world through my travels.
I am at home looking after many types of pets but my favorite has to be the feline variety as I adore cats.
Why I want to house sit
Whilst travelling, I enjoy spending time within communities and meeting local people. This in turn means I can experience and learn more about the local environment and way of life. I love animals so the combination of pet sitting and house sitting is perfect for me (and hopefully you too).
My experience
In 2011/2012 my friend, Dawn, and I spent 6 months ‘wwoofing’ around the north island of New Zealand. This entailed working on organic farms and looking after a large variety of animals - namely cats, dogs, chickens, birds, ponies, llamas, ducks, geese and goats. We also did 3 separate ‘house sits’ where we looked after both properties and pets (photos attached).
For the last 3 years I have spent 3 to 4 weeks house and cat sitting for friends at their home in Cyprus. This has involved looking after 7 cats in two separate houses (photos attached).
In January 2017, I spent 3 weeks as a volunteer at the Elephant Valley Project (EVP) in Cambodia. I had the most wonderful experience and learned so much - not only about elephants but also about the Environment, Forestry, Eco Tourism, Local Cultures & Customs, supporting Local Communities and so much more. It was a very emotional, rewarding and unforgettable experience (photos attached).
OTHER INFORMATION
I have recently obtained a new Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate / Disclosure & Barring Service Certificate which I would be happy to scan and email to any potential people wishing me to house/pet sit for them.

I have known Rosemary all my life and would not hesitate to recommend her to look after your home & your pets (if you have any) but be warned she is an animal lover and will fall hopelessly in love with your furry 4 legged friends. She is the most honest and trustworthy person you could meet and being a great traveller is very well organised.
There are not many Rosemary's in this world like this Rosemary, a friend that is loyal and capable of managing her life, whatever life throws at her. Your Home will be in safe hands with Rosemary and your garden, being a gardener don't be surprised if you find a few new plants pop up!
Rosemary has extensive experience as a Housesitter so rest assured she knows exactly what to do.
