About Jennie & Jaime
We are a 50-something couple living in the beautiful Cotswolds in England. We love to travel and prefer to integrate with a community than stay in an anonymous hotel. We both love animals and discovering new cultures and places so this seems like the ideal solution!
We are a 50-something couple living in the beautiful Cotswolds in England. We love to travel and prefer to integrate with a community than stay in an anonymous hotel. We both love animals and discovering new cultures and places so this seems like the ideal solution!
Why we want to house sit
We love to travel and prefer to live as part of a community than stay in an anonymous hotel. We are keen to explore different cultures and cuisines. We both love animals, Jaime has always had dogs and Jennie has had cats, sadly none of whom are with us now - hence our ability to travel. We have both had small pets - hamsters, rabbits, etc and currently keep chickens. We run our own businesses, which gives us a degree of flexibility. Jaime has a plumbing business and is pretty handy at most things - so very useful if things stop working! Jennie runs craft workshops and would love to explore crafts in other countries. We both love browsing antique shops and discovering new places.
Our experience
We have previously sat for an aunt in Spain, looking after the property, land, cat, dogs and chickens. We have also completed sits in Panama City, Florida and local to us in the Cotswolds. Jennie speaks some French, basic Italian and Spanish. We are trusted members of the community, Jaime is a parish councillor and former deputy mayor of our home town in the Cotswolds. We support a number of community organisations and run the local music festival, which was established in 2010.

Jennie and Jamie were brilliant house sitters - five star all the way and please come back anytime.

Honestly, I would probably give Jennie and Jaime 6 out of 5 stars if that was possible.
Words can not describe how pleased I was with their amazing level of care for my dogs Grace and Haka. As a veterinarian, I am EXTREMELY picky about my animal's care (just ask Jennie about the huge amount of p...Honestly, I would probably give Jennie and Jaime 6 out of 5 stars if that was possible.
Words can not describe how pleased I was with their amazing level of care for my dogs Grace and Haka. As a veterinarian, I am EXTREMELY picky about my animal's care (just ask Jennie about the huge amount of pills she administered to my old girl). Jennie and Jaime exceeded my expectations on all levels. They were great at communicating, left the house nice and tidy and took the dogs out for twice daily exercise everyday. They actually found dog parks in my home town that I did not even know about! They never left the dogs alone for more than a few hours; if they had to be gone longer than that they would just Grace and Haka with them.
I highly recommend both Jennie and Jaime as house sitters for anyone looking for top-quality care and love for their fur-family members while they are away.- Organised

I have known Jaime and Jennie for many years since moving to Lechlade on Thames. They are trusted and respected members of the local community; Jaime serves as a town councillor and they are both heavily involved in community events.

Jennie and Jaime have dog sat Ted, a four year old border terrier for me on a number of occasions when I have been away, the longest period being for a week. They are excellent with him and he's always pleased to see them. Jennie and Jaime are experienced pet owners and can manage my terrier along with their chickens. He comes back happy and healthy having had lots of walks and not too many treats (despite his relentless begging and cute, hard to resist, face).
I would highly recommend Jennie and Jaime as responsible dog sitters and thoroughly nice people, you'll be lucky to have them look after your dog and home- Organised
