Why we want to house sit
We left the UK in August 2017 and have been slow travelling our way around Asia since then. We love stopping in places for longer periods of time to really get to know an area and get a little bit of routine back. We have also really missed having animals around. Although we didn’t have pets before we left the UK we were previously pet owners and come from animal loving families.
Our experience
Myself, my partner and daughter all love animals. I grew up with Border Collies, Alsatians and black Labradors . I have previously owned a collie and my partner has previously owned a Great Dane. As we’ve been travelling we’ve taken any opportunity we can to be around animals including visiting Koh Lanta Animal Welfare Centre over the Christmas period to help out walking the dogs and socialising the cats.
Moreover, as police officers myself and my partner are very responsible and security conscious, plus I have a thing for cleaning!

It was an absolute pleasure to have laura and her family stay in our apartment, and for us to be a part of their adventure.

They are an extremely loving family and their daughter is a delight! The instant love they shared for our cats surpassed any expectations. Most importantly, they had the patience with Kitty, our friendly, yet shy cat.
Communication has been very good and we feel at ease knowing Laura and family and looking after our cats again.
I would highly recommend this family for a house sit.- Organised
