I also run a messy play drop in group once a week for children with special educational needs. Additional to the home learning I'm studying part time for a MSc in Psychology. Its suuuuuper interesting, I love it. Most week nights and week ends I'm reading articles and text books, doing research for projects. When I'm not nerding out I love going for walks either back up North (I'm from Yorkshire) in the Peaks or on the Heath. In the summer you will find my at the Ladies Pond, in the winter at the cinema. I grew up on a farm in Yorkshire so am very used to being surrounded by animals. Me and brothers had the lot, fish, rabbits, hampsters, guinea pigs, cats (So many cats!) chickens and a once even a budgie. I always wanted a dog as a child and was never allowed one. My parents (and probably quite rightly so) thought we had enough. I've looked after a couple of friend's dogs whilst they've been away and loved it. As said above I love going for walks, with friends or just listening to a podcast, so a dog slots in nicely to my daily routine.
Why I want to house sit
I moved out of my flat in Camden at the start of May and decided not to rent another place as I was pretty much travelling all summer. This summer I've done some sofa surfing with friends, staying in hostels and back at my parents on their Yorkshire farm in the interim between travelling. I'm doing a Masters in Psychology at The University of Westminster so now that term has started I will need to be in London full time. I'm currently attempting to house sit full time so am looking for various places full of furry friends as morel support for my studies from September 2018 - September 2019. Can provide a clear DBS (CRB) if necessary
My experience
I have house sat at colleges' houses whilst they are on holiday, and I've provided a couple of house sits since joining this website, so far dogs and a parrot. Every 3 months I house sit for a family in North London who has a severely disabled son. They need to go abroad for work for 5 days - 1 week. So I look after the house and their child, he's a total sweetheart and its my absolute pleasure.

Thanks to Ruby we had a very relaxed holiday! We had nothing to worry as she took care of almost everything.
