Why I want to house sit
I've always thought about house/pet sitting but only recently I decided to go for it on this website in order to go to new places and see the world and, at the same time, help others feel safe while away. I work from home (remote job) so no need to rush anywhere :)
My experience
I have always loved animals. It may sound like a cliché but I love them so much that I started rescuing them from the street. That's why I'm familiar with making sure they are brought back to health and placed for adoption as, sadly, I was never allowed by my landlords to keep them for good. So I know what it is like to barely sleep to give them a bottle or medicine every couple of hours. When it comes to animals, it's all about the purest, most selfless kind of love!
I worked in London as an au pair when I first arrived and I was left in charge of the houses I lived in when the families were away on holidays (always for periods longer than 7 days). I enjoyed the quietness while keeping everything clean and tidy, receiving and sorting the mail, etc.

Laura was a perfect fit for my active cat while I went away for work. I can back him every to a very clean apartment and even happier animal :)

Laura was an excellent sitter, very punctual and reliable in her communications and left the flat beautifully clean and tidy. She kept me updated with photos of my dog while I was away and he was clearly very happy with her. Highly recommended!

Laura was so so lovely, calm , kind and ever so wonderful. I couldn’t of asked for a nicer cat sitter. She updated me without even me asking which was so lovely and made me feel as ease.
