Hello our names are Tim and Jo we are both non smokers, Tim is 51 and Jo is 54, previously Jo worked in nursing and care, she starting out as a nurse to eventually become a manager of a care home, I was in sales, six years as a salesman/franchised dealer for snap on tools before taking a managerial role as the area manager for South and West Wales with the same company. We are now professional long term foster carers, both DBS/CRB registered which has to be redone every two years (last one completed Jan 2017) and have been fostering since March 2005, we currently look after 3 children, two boys 8 & 9 and one girl 13 who are with us long term until they leave at 18. We also have the pleasure of caring for our black collie cross dog called Cheech who was a rescue dog, she's 13 years old and still our little baby. We love being outdoors and walking our dog, shes getting older now and can't walk so far but she still loves the time outside meeting new friends! We also look after our neighbors dog when they go on holiday, we have a grown up son (25) who lives with us who will look after our dog when we come to look after your loved ones. Over the years we have had a wealth of experience caring for animals, mostly dogs but some cats including our own, rabbits, hamsters, fish, tarantula's and a pony. We live in a semi rural village surrounded by common land so are used to sheep, cattle, goats, chickens and horses around us, we absolutely love animals and will always put there welfare before our own. The children we have living with us adore animals and we think that Trusted House sitters will give them an amazing experience of caring for other animals from different countries and cultures also providing a wealth of life experiences. We haven’t purchased the criminal check in the enhanced check as part of trustedhousesitters as obviously being foster carers we have to regularly have this done as part of our fostering registration.
Why we want to house sit
We love the idea that we can stay in different locations around the world and stay in peoples pride and joy and not just a hotel room, we are very house proud and look forward to caring for your home as much as our own thus allowing you to relax while you are away knowing your home will be well cared for.
Our experience
We own our own home in a semi rural village in Bridgend, South Wales, we have looked after various properties over the years including a six bedroom mansion in Wiltshire with 50 acres of land containing horses and dogs which we looked after while the owners were away on holidays, we also regularly care for our neighbors dog when they travel. We absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes and would love the opportunity to care for yours.

We are experienced house sitters and use this website ourselves. We have known Tim & Jo for 10 years and can highly recommend them. They are very caring, considerate people with extensive experience looking after a wide variety of animals, both their own pets, and other people's. As dog owners ourselves, we are more than happy for Tim & Jo to look after our beloved dog and our home.
Their birth children are now grown up and they also provide a loving home for 3 great foster children. The children are with them until adulthood, are very settled and well behaved.
Tim & Jo & family have a lovely home that is immaculate and welcoming. We have no hesitation in recommending them to look after your pets and home.- Organised
