We are a retired couple. Cheryl worked 33 years in teaching as a teacher and librarian. Doug worked for 40 years in the grocery business. We've lived in Tucson for over 40 years but are planning on moving to Europe in 2020. We'll be available to housesit/pet sit as we set up our house as a vacation rental while we're gone. We raised 4 daughters and encouraged them to have many family pets. We, of course, had many cats and dogs, as well as birds, mice, snakes, hamsters, and fish.
Why we want to house sit
We'll be handing over the last pets back to our daughters and we'll be available to take care of other pets and houses. We'll be moving to Europe and hope to housesit for families there. Since we love to travel we won't be having our own pets but we would love to take care of yours instead.
Our experience
We are experienced with taking care of many kinds of animals as well as any house issues. We've taken care of our house and pool for 25 years as well as made many improvements. We've house sat for our daughters and their animals. We've had trusted house sitters taking care of our animals and our house. As an owner I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy to take care of your treasures.

Cheryl is very knowledgeable about taking care of cats, dogs, snakes and other family pets. She has a green thumb and can take care of indoor plants and outdoor gardens as well. She like to be tidy and organized. I would highly recommend her as a house sitter.
