About Steven

My name is Steven and I am a trustworthy 59 year-old adult who is great with animals (dogs, cats, birds, alpacas, you name it!) and lives a very clean and neat lifestyle. I have travelled extensively in my life and am comfortable nearly anywhere.

Why I want to house sit

I love to travel and experience various cultures, not as a tourist but actually living within that culture. I also enjoy caring for people's much-loved homes and assuring the safety and cleanliness thereof. Moreover, I LOVE animals and spending time with them.

My experience

I have been with Trusted Housesitters for three years now and have completed more than 15 house/pet sits in France, England, Italy, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Also, prior to joining this site, I have extensive sitting experience in New York and California. I have a tremendous background with animals, handling dogs, cats, birds (especially parrots), horses, and fish. I am well-versed in medicating needy pets (dogs and cats) and can give shots as necessary. I can also help train your dog (obedience, agility, tricks). I do prefer to charge a little for training.

Steven was amazing. He took care of Paco and my son's dog Kai. They adored hime and Steven took such special care of them. He feed them, walked them, brushed them and overall connected with them in a loving and caring way. Also, it was a pleasure to get to know Steven since he came a day early to make sure he understood all the details of housesitting as well as dog sitting. I would highly recommend him.

Having Steven Pet/house sit for me was like winning the 10 million dollar Jackpot in Las Vegas! From our first communication he was clear, caring and accomodating. He went above and beyond to show me his enthusiasm and capability. He met with me a few days before the house sit started, which made my departure so much less stressful. He was attentive to all my instructions and had absolutely no problem handling all 5 of my animals. While I was on my trip he was just perfect, assuring me that everyone was okay and giving me updates. (which I asked for) I came home to a super clean (Cleaner than I had left it) house and happy cats and dogs who had been clearly well cared for. I will beg Steven to house sit for me again next time and I know my fur babies will be delighted to see him if he accepts. Steven is Completely trustworthy with your most precious loved ones! If you are looking for an amazing sitter, You found one.
