Why I want to house sit
I have had more than a few bad experiences on Craigslist. I'm not sure if it's my age or the quality of people renting to others but ... I have decided that as I myself am responsible and mature... I only would like to deal with other responsible adults, in a transactional way. Y(our) home is the most important asset you have, and you cannot trust everyone. Yes - I myself am a homeowner on the East Coast, but living / working on the West Coast. So I have found that when you are looking for someone to manage your most valuable asset (as I would feel myself) - I will have the pleasure of dealing with people who are not flaky. They are truly in need of a flexible, dependable, truthful and most important... honest individual ... to trust with their prized family member pet(s) and HOME. My experience
I have house sat in Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito, and Fremont. That is this coast; my other refs are from Stamford, CT. I love dogs, but I must commute on a BART line to work in the South Bay... so I only offer myself for cat-lovers, reptile, bird and fish owners. Elsewhere I mention I am a huge gardener and cleaner, so I will definitely leave your home in a welcome state for your return.

I have known Michele for over 25 years. She is a very tidy and caring person who also loves tinkering outside in the garden. She has had several cats of her own and has always been very loving to my assortment of dogs. I would highly recommend her as a pet/house sitter.
