We are retired professionals looking for options to travel more frequently. We live in Nevada City Ca a small town by Ca standards that has four seasons. We are adventuresome. We are retired professionals looking for options to travel more frequently. We live in Nevada City Ca a small town by Ca standards that has four seasons. We are adventuresome. We love to travel and explore new places. We have had a Westie, an australian, a golden and a Lakeland terrier. We also have had a Maine coon cat, a black cat with six toes and an aquarium with fish. We have had even more experience when you include our childhood pets. We know that they are family and how much love they give us.
We want to know all about your pet/pets.: Age, energy level and excerise requirements. Do they have any quirky habits chewing, barking, clawing or ?? We also need to know their temperament. Are they afraid of thunder? Do they get along with other dogs? Do they any food no no’s? Any special medicial requirements or extra special care and etc. We realize each pet has his or her own personality and unique needs. We strive to provide the best care possible.
We will be traveling this summer and fall in our trailer. We are going to Idaho and Montana to hike, fish and photo the natural beauty of the area.
Late summer we are going on a caravan with friends thru Utah. We will be going to Bryce, Zion.Canyonlands, Santa Fe and many more places for over 60 days.

Why we want to house sit
We love this win win concept. It enables us to travel more frequently while it gives you peace of mind. I love to feel my toes in the sand at the beach. Being able to eat local crusine and explore. We are active seniors. We realize the importance of play and excerise in our lives and in your pets. We love to walk and hike around new neighborhoods.
Being a pet sitter is the best. The pets and people we have met have given us more than we expected. All of the homeowners we have met are amazing. They are the nicest people. We have wonderful memories and have made new friends.
Your pets will not be lonely and you can look forward to worry free travel. When you return your home will be neat and clean. It will almost be like we were never there. Our goal is that you will be so pleased with our services that you will want us back. I know we will want to come back. Let’s start planning the next adventure .
Our experience
At first glance our experience is limited but not when you take into account our many years of pet ownership. In Baja we cared for a parrot Missy and Mortisha cat . The cat quickly stopped hiding and became affectionate and quite the conversationist.The parrot and I bonded it would follow me all over the house. It would greet us with the Oscar Mayer weiner song. The best. In Santa Fe we cared for Handful the black cat who in reality was a handful of love. In upcountry Maui we cared for Ruger the pointer aka suggle bug.
In addition we can provide excellent references. As a home owner I know the importance of gentle care and that I would want my privacy respected. You can travel with the knowledge that your beloved pets will be well cared for and your home will be neat and clean when you return.

I highly recommend Diane and Frank for house and pet sitting. They sat for us for about 2 1/2 weeks and provided companionship and care for our German Shorthair pointer. We all spent a little time together before we flew out and they are a delightful couple. We checked in with each other while we were away and Diane sent us pics of our sweet dog. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that our dog and our home were being so specially cared for. In addition to the normal feeding and watering, they also took our dog for walks and snuggled with him because he loves attention. Diane and Frank used one of our vehicles also and took great care of it too. It was easy to coordinate leaving the car at the airport for each other. After we returned home, our dog was so happy, our home was so clean, and the vehicle was tidy. Diane also left some beautiful fresh flowers that we are enjoying. I really like Diane and Frank, and I am so pleased that it all turned out so well. I would definitely not hesitate to invite them to sit again in the future.

Diane and Frank were great house sitters. They arrived the day before so that they could meet Handful and get comfortable with him and the house. When we returned they had dinner ready for us, Handful was happy and the house was in good order. We would certainly use them again.

I have known Diane and her husband for 32 years. She is a meticulous housekeeper-- has a gorgeous home. She was a trusted real estate agent who I personally used several times. And most importantly, she is a good dog mom. Really, a good dog mom is the best thing I can say about someone.
