As home owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, California for over ten years, we know the ins & outs of keeping things clean, cared for, and welcoming. As guests, we work hard to do those same things.
Our family loves to travel-- we've explored the Maldives, South Africa, UK, China, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, and Australia together. This means we are adaptable, know how to solve problems efficiently, and truly cherish home life & pet sitting. We also know how hard it can be to leave your loved ones at home while you are away, and take the responsibility of caring for your pets seriously.
We are educated professionals, non-smokers, and are respectful towards property and environment.
Our three children {ages 9, 7 and 5.5} are well-mannered animal-lovers, and accustomed to being around a variety of animals: cats, dogs, horses, sheep, chicken, guinea fowl, ducks, guinea pigs, etc-- large, small, young and old, you name it.
Why we want to house sit
We love out-of-the-box experiences and are looking to not only live locally and sustainably, but also the joy of loving & caring for others' furry family members. House sitting allows us to care/serve others while still having a 'local' experience outside of hotels. We love this idea of helping out while also traveling ourselves.
Our experience
-As a family, wide range of caring for animals: including dogs {Chihuahuas to Greater Swiss Mountain dogs, puppies to elderly rescue dogs}, cats {indoor only to feral}, horses, sheep, llamas, donkey, turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, guinea pigs, and more!
-Also a large range of properties that we have looked after from flats, townhouses, rural country houses, etc. and a varying levels of care including farm work, green house gardening, and chopping wood as a heat source.
-Experience with lead and off-lead walking; administrating medications; puppy training
-Housesat for neighbors for many years; including cats and dogs
-Rescued two older dogs from the local SPCA until they passed
Our goal is to leave your place better/cleaner than when we arrived and loving on your furry family members so they don't even notice you've left. We're VERY tidy, can follow instructions, and excited to help. We look forward to taking care of your loved ones and sending you updates while you are away!

What a wonderful family, full of life and such sweet children! They were great at keeping in touch with us and we received lots of lovely photos of their adventures. The dogs were very well cared for and it is clear that they are missing them. We are too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Jess & Will (and their very polite and well behaved young family) were the perfect house sitters to look after our home and 2 cats whilst we were away for 3 weeks. They are a lovely family who are currently travelling around the world so are super organised when it comes to dates and travel arrangements. They are clearly very experienced in looking after animals and pets, they even won over our slightly hesitant young female cat within 24 hours. Communication from Jess was excellent both before and during our time away, taking away any potential stress or worry. We returned to a house that was spotlessly clean, we're not sure that our children's playroom has ever been so tidy and well organised as it was on our return (Thanks Jess!).
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Will & Jess for any house sit, and hope that one day we will be able to catch up with them again.- Organised

It was a joy to have Jess, William and their children to stay and look after Chilli, Colin and Ted. It was a joy to have Jess, William and their children to stay and look after Chilli, Colin and Ted. Jess sent us regular updates, photos and videos and it was clear that Ted really enjoyed his walks with the family. Chilli had lots of cuddles and was a very happy cat when we got home. Colin did his usual invisible cat routine but popped home every so often to show himself. He was also very relaxed when we got home.
Not only did Jess leave our house in an immaculate condition she washed all of the bedding and towels and the family left us flowers, a thank you note and Vesper (their youngest child) drew us a beautiful picture.
I can not recommend this family highly enough and wish them good luck and happiness in their onward travels.- Organised
