I have had a number of pets myself during my life, my dog Arrow for 18 years. I love nature and its critters. Little pleases me more than the wind in the trees and a furry companion to walk with. I am a non-smoker.
Why I want to house sit
I love animas and I love the chance to spend time in places I want to get to know. Pet/housesitting gives me a break from my usual routine and helps me to be more grounded and mindful.
My experience
I have house and pet sat for friends many times over the years. Animals give me their stamp of approval, maybe because I respect them and notice their nuances. I have also sat for people that my friends referred me to or that I met online, for 5 week periods each. Animals and I connect well with each other. I am good with them and to them. I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, tadpoles, frogs, toads, lizards and snakes. I keep owners updated on their pets status. I can administer medication.

Michelle Bernard house and pet set for us in 2014. We were very satisfied with her service. She was very organized and responsible. She requires a comprehensive less of instructions for how to do and who to call before she will accept your assignment. Our two dogs and cat were well cared for and happy when we returned. The house was as we left it, clean and in good repair. As I recall we were gone to Europe for 45 days or more.
