We are a young, caring, non-smoking and adventurous couple that loves to travel and meet new people. We will love your pets and take care of your home as if it were our own. Rob previously worked in the craft beer world and has extensive handy-man skills. Emily has a big heart, and loves animals of all kinds. We both love good wine, reading novels, and meeting new friends from around the globe!
Why we want to house sit
After meeting in Australia in 2014, we have continued to travel the world and while we have lived out of plenty of suitcases in the past, we want to feel 'at home' while we travel. We are both able to work remotely, and will be spending most of our time at work and exploring the near-by community while taking care of your home. You do not need to worry about us being away from the house for extended periods of time.
We know how to take care of a home, and we love watching pets. Our goal is to make your pets and home feel as if you never left!
Our experience
We love trustedhousesitters, and have stayed in multiple homes around the world through this site and others, like kiwihousesitters.com. We have watched a variety of pets and taken care of several different types of properties. We are responsible adults from respectable families, and we also both grew up with numerous dogs and cats. Emily also had horses, and lived on a farm.

Emily and Robert were fantastic house sitters for our furry gang :-) Before arrival they had great communications with us and then while we were away, they kept us up to date with how our pets were doing each day. One of our dogs has to take a number of pills and they managed this perfectly - we came home to happy, healthy pets!
Emily & Robert care for the animals as if they were their own - we'd have them look after Milo, Russ, Amber & Belle again in a heartbeat :-) Thank you so much guys!

Hosting Emily and Robert was a very pleasant experience. It so happened that my house is very close to where they will get married next summer, so my petsitting needs fitted perfectly with their "scouting" plans for the area. They were (are) very forthcoming, helpful and considerate. They always made sure that no dogs were left-out when it came to cuddles and / or exercise and were always extremely thoughtful in checking their plans with mine to make sure that i didn't need anything. Truly lovely couple, from every perspective ; the dogs loved them, and my son and I both enjoyed sharing a part of their life journey with them. We would be happy to have them back anytime. We wish you all the best life has to offer!! :)

Emily and Robert looked after our Lab cross for a week and I can't rate them highly enough. If I could score 11 out of 10 then I would. As soon as they arrived i just knew Mia would be spoilt rotten and in the best of hands. They both took to one another straightaway and the photos we were sent while away of multiple cuddles confirmed our suspicions! Emily and Robert are a lovely warm couple and completely committed to the animals they sit for. The house was immaculate despite my insistence of no housework! If we won the lottery, they would be the house sitters we would insist on while taking our worldwide cruise! We love you guys and so does Mia, she has sulked for 3 days. I guess that says it all. It was a privilege meeting you and having you share our home and beloved dog. BEST WISHES XX

Mia was an absolute joy to look after. She loves attention and we were happy to share ours with her. Treena and Dave were very accommodating hosts and we were happy to get to know them before their travels over a beautiful home cooked meal the night we arrived. Treena and Dave’s home provides a great base to take Mia for long walks on the many nature paths surrounding their home. In the evenings you can even spot a few wild foxes running around! Swindon is also a great base for exploring Western England and the Cotswolds and we would be happy to return and sit Mia again. We are missing her lots!
