Why I want to house sit
Housesitting appeals to me because it will provide me a way to see new places inexpensively. Ideally it will give me enough free time to work on my favorite creative pursuit: fiction writing.
My experience
I have house-sat for my siblings many times over the past 15 years, for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Usually this involved me watching their home, their pets, and their children. I have owned my own home for seven years…
