Why we want to house sit
Enjoy traveling but are not the "touristy" types. Prefer to stay in an area to meet the local people and experience how they live. House sitting provides a way to do this and minimize expenses.
Our experience
Have renovated homes and cared for animals throughout our married life .Have had dogs, sheep,goats, pigs and poultry. Have owned and cared for rental units so we have seen the best of people and the worst as far as home care. We take pride in where we live even if temporary.Have also completed 17 house sits in Queensland and Tasmania, Australia. We have copied the references from another site and can E-mail them.
We have been with animals throughout our lives and enjoy working with them and caring for them.

We would thoroughly recommend Jack and Mary-Jane. We got back to a beautifully clean home and very happy and content dogs. We have a 3 legged dog on a strict diet due to arthritic hips and they managed his regime and exercise perfectly.

Jack and Mary Jane were a charming couple and they did a great job house sitting. The animals seemed happy when I got back and the house was fine.
