Hello! I'm a hairstylist who started working with and volunteering women. im traveling to India and Nepal to help train at a hair salon, as well as serving at a nonprofit.
I am also a lover of animals, having always had both cats and dogs. I have really enjoyed the pets I have been privileged to care for while their owners were away . It's a joy to be able to fill that gap and provide the attention and care they are used to.
Why I want to house sit
I look forward to carIng for a pet while I'm working on some computer projects. It's a great way to focus on some work without the daily distractions of home, but have also create a warm environment for a pet. A long dog walk is a great way to see a new community!
My experience
I have both housesit and cared for my friends' dogs, as well as had several cats of my own. I was a residential leader at a women's program and have experience in dealing with last minute issues. I understand that your animals are part of your family and will be attentive and caring with your home and pets.

Simply the best sitter I've had! Heather takes GREAT care of Neala when I'm gone. They go on little field trips together, and I never have to worry about the well-being of my pup. I can't wait for Heather to take care of Neala again!

Heather was GREAT! Easily the most reliable and trustworthy dog/house-sitter I have had so far. Heather was GREAT! Easily the most reliable and trustworthy dog/house-sitter I have had so far. She made me feel at ease when I was out of town for an extended period by sending pictures of my dog and frequent updates when they were walking or just hanging out at the house. She was very respectful of my space as well - the apartment was spotless, the bed linens were removed, and the plants were all watered when I returned. I highly recommend Heather if you're looking for an exceptional sitter.
