Why we want to house sit
We would like to house sit as we enjoy discovering local communities and sight-seeing while geocaching. We also would like to help others keep their house, pets, and belongings safe while they travel.
Our experience
As homeowners, we are used to caring for a property with an in-ground swimming pool and dealing with any issues that may arise. We had a fresh water fish aquarium for several years in the 90's. We have had cats since 1993. One of Wendy's past volunteer jobs was Church Treasurer. In 2015, we started fostering kittens for a local shelter.

Wendy and Dave are incredibly caring and concerned pet sitters. They worked within our schedule and comfort level. They sent pictures and periodic updates, which comforted my husband and me. Our cats are older and leaving them for any length of time is always a concern, but in the care of Wendy and Dave we knew they would be in good hands. They were respectful of our cats 'regular' habits and brought some home grown catnip to help them create a bond with our cats. We would highly recommend Wendy and Dave and hope our paths cross again someday. They are caring and compassionate pet sitters. We consider ourselves and our pets fortunate to have them as our temporary companions and cat care providers. Thank you both so much.

Wendy and Dave were wonderful housesitters and GiGi caregivers. They arrived early on the day of my departure, so we could meet in person -- always a boon. They are kind, resourceful and meticulous. We were lucky enough to get Wendy and Dave to come and take care of Sofia for a 3rd time. Wendy is great with her communication prior to the sit and they arrived the night before our departure. Enjoyed catching up with them and they took great care of Sofia while we were away and Sofia even spent time on Wendy's lap. Not a normal occurrence with our sitters. We are so appreciative that they've come back to help us out. The house was in great order when we arrived home.
