Steven and I love to travel. We have ESL teaching jobs that allows us to do so whenever we want as long as we have good internet and a place to stay! We are both animal lovers. We love all types of animals and we are passionate about the sharing economy. Exchanging needs when possible without the need for currency is so powerful! We know from experience, the price of pet sitters added onto travel expenses can put our love for animals and our love for travel in conflict. I think this site is changing that for many people. We love the idea that we can help others to have the life they desire, while also gaining a wonderful experience taking care of your home and pet and exploring your hometown!
Why we want to house sit
We love to travel. We can travel more when we can save money on accommodations. We also love making friends with cats and dogs. We have hosted couchsurfers in our home as well. We like to help others travel while we travel.
Our experience
We have done housesitting for friends for a month at a time. We have experience watching cats and dogs. We are regular pet sitters and dog walkers in our home city.

Brooke and Steve were great house sitters. They had a tough assignment with Smalls. Smalls was diagnosed with arthritis and some back issues four days before their sit. They had to deal with giving Smalls his new meds, which he was not always agreeable to. I know this stressed them as they are very pet caring. I will happily have them again to sit with my persnickety pet. In fact, Smalls was wondering about the house looking for them after they were gone.

The dog and cat were much-loved as evidenced by the photos sent to us, the garden was well cared for including unexpected but needed attention to the lawn, and the house was in great shape when we returned. Brooke and Steven’s kind and gentle nature, exhibited in everything they do, was the icing on the cake!
