About Kathryn & Lettie
Kathryn have two grown sons, plus a beautiful daughter-in-law. She has been an RN since 1975 and has worked in all areas of nursing. Currently She is retired and very active outdoors, skiing, aqua class, walking, hiking, plus enjoys reading and writing. She has one old cat, Petro.

Lettie has six children from a blended family plus fourteen grandchildren. She also is an RN since 1970. She has two small little dogs, Rosco and Bosco. She is active in outdoor sports and enjoys her many friends in Tahoe.
Why we want to house sit
We love traveling and meeting new people. We spent three + weeks in Europe in January. Both of us have had animals in our lives since we were children. We are now living in NV in the mountains.
Our experience
In October 2016 I spent ten days caring for my friend's five cats. this year I watched my friend’s Australian Shepard for 3 1/2 weeks. Then I watched my neighbor’s two dogs, Bodie and Cooper for a week. Currently I am caring for another girlfriend’s two cats. I have volunteered in Africa for an Orphanage, volunteered with Project Helping Hands as a nurse, and in S.A. at a Wildlife Sanctuary from 2008 to 2013. I currently have a cat who is seventeen and a great companion. I have owned a number of homes in my lifetime and cared for many animals.Lettie cares for her two small dogs, Bosco and Rosco. She is kind and loving to all animals.

Yesterday I returned home to a very happy dog, clean and tidy home and smiling face of Kathryn my wonderful Petsitter for the past week. I am so grateful for the gift of travel without worries and the opportunity to meet wonderful people like Kathryn that make journeys away from my dog possible for my husband and myself. As a retired professional the only barrier to traveling has always been leaving my dog Ellie for longer than a few days without worry about her well being while I was having a fine vacation far away. TrustedHousesitters has solved my worries away by introducing pet owners like myself to freedom to travel the world as we have always dreamed.
Thank you Kathryn for your prompt responses, daily updates and wonderful attention to Ellie's needs while we were away for a week skiing in Utah. I'm sure she had a wonderful vacation at home while we were away. So glad you had a good time traveling around the neighborhood walking her and discovering Carson City........ our historic community at the foothills of the eastern Sierra.- Organised

Kathryn is an excellent house and pet sitter! She recently watched our dog and house for almost a month. She sent me pictures of my pup and provided updates frequently. The house was spotless when we returned. She is awesome with animals and very trustworthy . I highly recommend her!

I have known Kathryn Halloran for five years. We are both professional Pet Sitters in Incline Village, NV, on Lake Tahoe. People here travel a great deal, so there is plenty of work, and if I am busy, I never hesitate to recommend her to my clients, and vice versa. Personal friend of both Kathryn and Lettie and have experienced their care and love for their own pets first hand and of friends and neighbors pets they have cared for. Also I was in South Africa with Kathryn at the Wildlife Sanctuary and say her with a couple of animals that were being cared for. The experience was not as much hands on as had been hoped for but her organizational skills in dealing with the staff and owner's as well as the other volunteers was noteworthy - she is compassionate, gentle and understanding with a willingness to learn. I have had experience with both Kathy and Lettie with non-pet functions and saw their individual skills at mastering the task on hand. They are creative, tireless, reliable, self-sufficient and self starters. They are not only tidy but also follow through and follow up on issues and situations. They are calm in emergencies and capable to resolve what comes up. I frequently turn to either or both for advice and help. If it's a pet issue they are recommended first to everyone in our circle of friends and family.
