  Our recent Pet Sitter, Suzanne was the “cat’s meow” of cat sitters. Using Trusted House & Pet Sitters have been a delightful surprise because of the people we’ve met who thoroughly enjoy traveling. people and caring for pets. She and her longtime companion, Fernando were the ultimate, genuine cat and pet lovers. They flew in from New York City and not only made an instant, positive connection to our cat, Mele but also to us. We were sent regular texts and wonderful photos of Mele hanging out, being brushed, having a meal, etc.; we could see how content she was. As a pet and house sitter, Suzanne’s arrival included a special gift that she made for our cat – a fun toy with bird feathers and she also brought us a special treat for us from Sydney, Australia - her home town where our daughter now lives. I was grateful for her extensive experience with cats and learned quite a few tips that about them too. They were very trustworthy and took great care of our home and car, even replacing any food they might have used. Although we met in person at the end of our trip due to the limited flight schedules to our island during the holidays, we felt as though we knew her and Fernando for many, many years and would welcome them back to our home on Moloka’i, Hawai’i in a heartbeat. They enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the small, rural community that we live in. We have maintained our kindred spirit connection across the miles and look forward to the next time we meet. Suzanne has a genuine, aloha spirit for both pets and people.
