I love hiking and being outdoors, seeing wildlife I've never seen before. I'm friendly, quiet (so your neighbors won't have to worry about me), low-maintenance, keep things clean, and love cats. I have not gotten one of my own, since I want to make sure I can be a forever home when I do get one, so I've been cat-sitting, and enjoying loving up on others' animals in the meantime.
Why I want to house sit
I want to explore places I've never been! And do it in a way, where I can really embed myself in local culture/truly soak in my environment. Also to be in peaceful places to finish writing projects. Again, I love nature, and being able to be around that.
My experience
I've both cat-sat for lengthy periods of time in someone's home, and grew up with cats too. I'm home a lot writing, so your pet will have a lot of company. And like I said, I'm clean, so will keep your place nice for both my stay and when you get back.

Libby was a stellar housesitter for us! Like all first timers, we were a little nervous handing over our keys and -- most importantly -- our cat to someone whom we hadn't met, but Libby was fantastic at calming us down.
She arrived early, discussed all aspects of the housesit, and then went for ...Libby was a stellar housesitter for us! Like all first timers, we were a little nervous handing over our keys and -- most importantly -- our cat to someone whom we hadn't met, but Libby was fantastic at calming us down.
She arrived early, discussed all aspects of the housesit, and then went for a run while we finished packing and got out the door. She also regularly sent updates (I loved the selfies with Malka, our cat -- Libby always seemed to know when I missed Malka the most), and Libby was very patient when the kitchen sink got stopped up during her stay and we had to call a plumber.
When we returned home, our house was impeccable and our cat (usually very clingy after we've been gone) was her normal sweet self. Thanks so much Libby! We hope to have a housesit arrangement again in the future.- Organised

Libby looked after our cat while we were away for two weeks. She did a great job, left the place looking spotless and our cat was healthy and happy when we arrived back. Highly recommend
